Trump "lead" an insurrection? Why hasn't he been charged?

The Democrats are that easily intimidated?

Dunno. Let's investigate his ass til we find something. Shouldn't be a problem, if he has nothing to hide. Right?

    1. His presidency wasn't "terminated"...lol

    2. Every other president took government docs and it wasn't a problem. Why all the hoopla, now?

That's right. Put those lying bastards before Congress, under oath, and if they won't answer questions, congress has a jail, put them in there until they remember how to answer questions.

'In 'McGrain v. Daugherty, which involved a Senate investigation into the failure of the Attorney General to prosecute certain antitrust violations, a subpoena was issued to the brother of the Attorney General, Mallie Daugherty, the president of an Ohio bank. When Daugherty refused to comply, the Senate exercised its inherent contempt power and ordered its Sergeant-at-Arms to take him into custody. The grant of a writ of habeas corpus was appealed to the Supreme Court. The Court’s opinion in the case considered the investigatory and contempt powers of Congress to be implicit in the grant of legislative power. According to the Court, the subject was plainly “one on which legislation could be had and would be materially aided by information the investigation was calculated to elicit.” The Court in McGrain was willing to presume that the investigation had been undertaken to assist the committee in its legislative efforts.'

When people are threatening to burn down the country for their leader. When a leader has the power to essentially brainwash his base into breaking the law and thinking it's okay, that's not being "easily intimidated" against them.

Investigate to find wrongdoing. Is that how the law is supposed to work?

According to the constitution, it was. It may hurt to accept it, but according to the constitution, Trump is no longer president so has no authority.

They didn't store classified documents in their home. Anything they took they have with permission of NARA. If you have evidence of Obama or Bush taking SCIF documents following the end of their presidency without permission from NARA, let me know.

Nothing can fix Washington except revolution.

Everyone working in D.C. needs to be shown the door - everyone.

Politicians, every lawyer, every institution swept clean, secretaries, janitors, cooks, cops, teachers, all military brass, lobbyists... everyone.

No severance pay, no thank you, no pension, no mementos, nothing. All of their assets confiscated - they should be left with nothing.

Get Out!!! And The Door Should Hit You In The Ass On The Way Out.

No one from that God Forsaken place should ever be allowed to hold public office again.

I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a Fauci and resigns before a Republican House or Senate gets sworn in. He's going to get asked a lot of questions under oath that he won't be able to answer without making himself and Biden look horrible. He doesn't want an impeachment or contempt on his record. Democrats hold the gavels and have protected him. Once his shield is gone there's a good chance he is too.

Trump haters threatened to blow up the capital.

It's how the law is applied to Trump. Is Garland above the law?

No where does the Constitution mention "terminated" presidencies. Feel free to show us that part.

Sure they did. Hillary Clinton had a server in her ****ing bathroom.

Nobody noticed you didn't answer my question about Pelosi and Schiff, and the book is authored by likely leftist Politico and WaPo reporters.

Democrats admit they abandoned precedent, denied Trump due process in impeachment | Fox News

"They’re going to argue we don’t have due process for Trump. Why make that argument real?" Those words from House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y.

On the second impeachment, they went one better. They jettisoned any witnesses (including legal experts) in what I called a "snap impeachment."

The book appears to confirm the Kafkaesque logic. It states that neither Pelosi nor Schiff wanted to risk a witness or member going off script by allowing true due process. When Nadler raised historical and constitutional objections, Schiff reportedly barked back that he needed to watch his "tone" and complained "you’re putting us in a box." That box is an effort to guarantee fairness and Nadler reportedly and correctly observed that "if we’re going to impeach, we need to show the country that we gave the president ample opportunity to defend himself."

    Link?

How? There are affidavits and documentation from NARA concerning the classified documents at Trump's home. Where is the affidavits or documentation of wrongdoing by Garland?

Terminate is a synonym for end.

Is Trump a private citizen today? Yes or no?

Everyone who carries water for the Establishment is, as much as possible, protected from any consequences related to their treachery.

That is why scumbags like James Comey are not indicted, but instead land book deals, seats on boards, and positions at law firms and universities.

Democrats will go after any Republican that is not in the Establishment fold, but Republicans only talk about accountability.

Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican leadership are just as committed to the destruction of America as everyone in the Democratic Party is.

No one connected to the Establishment will ever be held accountable.

What a misleading title by FOX. Who in the democratic party admitted denying Trump due process? Show me the quote.

How many anonymous sources do you think are in this book?

    Really??

You think the 6+ years of circus theatrics, hyperbole, and propaganda by the Dems, the media, Hollywood, and everybody left of Chairman Mao is a fine example of "due process"??

Under oath testimony in secret and under seal, but in public a constant stream of lies and smears??

Only to find out later that the under oath testimony in no way matched the public character assassination??

You guys on the left are really warped.

I'm not a big Trump fan because his antics and schtick, but policy wise, he was a much better President than any of the boobs going back to Reagan.

Again, show me where a democratic member of congress admitted to depriving Trump of due process. FOX headline said there was an admission, but I could not find a single quote of admission. They need to fix their click bait title.

Who cares what they admit, say, or think... they're all jackals in a den of thieves. They represent the worst of humanity - and you blindly follow them??

That says more about you than it does them.

Try thinking for yourself. What the Dems have been doing for the past 6 years is an abomination.

Stonewall 'em. TFG - LOSER ain't around to waive executive privilege, and DOJ (Garland) has final say on whether or not to prosecute. More meaningless drivel from Lyin' Cancun Cruz...

"Deep State". The victim card of the MAGA.
Time for MAGA to accept that their candidates are just crazy-ass mother******* and that's why they lost. And that Trump is not above the law.
