I’m two shots and one booster, both Moderna. The booster I understand is a half foes of the regular.

 

That's the latest line, that it will keep you out of the hospital and off the death list. Problem is it doesn't guarantee either. Vaxed cases still go to the hospital and some die. It seems the governing factors are same as always, age and comorbidities. I have both.

That's not how vaccines have worked through the years... just the China virus. Traditionally, vaccines give you a weakened case you never even notice. That builds up antibodies and you never get sick. Sorry, I'm old enough to have lived how this works, starting with small pox back in the 1950's, through military shots for just about everything you can think of.

 

Sorry, the Indians were never vaxxed so your comment is irrelevant. Traditionally, vaccines give you a very, very weak infection of the disease and without any illness or any noticeable effects, you build antibodies. It all happens without you having any effects. I have been through this myself from small pox vaccinations back in the 1950's through military vaccinations for everything from yellow fever to anthrax to typhus to typhoid and more. The reason you take these vaccines in the first place is so you ON'T GET SICK. If the China Virus vaccine still let's you get sick... it is obviously not as effective as every other vaccine given for decades. This is simply a what has happened versus what is happening. These are FACTS, not opinions. I have dozens of vaccinations to prove it.

There is no 100% vaccine. Smallpox vaccine was not 100%. The flushot nowhere near 100%. The vaccine helping minimize getting sick is not a 'latest line', but for crying out loud, don't take the shot if you dont want it, but what's the point of trying to talk others out of taking it? You want to see the economy tank like it did last year? You want to see more people die? Why?

They don't just reject the vaccine, they spare no effort trying to talk others into rejecting it. Its almost as if they want as many as possible to die from it.

I'm not whining at all. I am simply stating facts about how vaccines have worked and been great for decades and the COVID vaccines don't. That's not whining. Its simply stating facts. I really don't care much about it. We have none of the COVID "mandates" here... no masks, no spacing, no proof of being vaxxed before you can live your life... schools are open... so are stores, restaurants and everything else. We're FREE to live our lives. And here in Texas, without all that mandate silliness, we are 43rd out of 50 in the states for COVID deaths per 100,000 popukation. No NEED to whine here... we're living normal lives.

The government shut the economy down in response to Covid. The debate today is the actual value of that response and the viability of doing it again.

 

No. Some might see getting a vaccine with very short term duration as a pointless gesture if they still have to get sick and get natural immunity. I can tell you that judging from the symptoms many of my friends felt after getting their shots, to many healthy people symptoms of covid will be significantly lighter than normal reaction to anti-covid vaccines.
If vaccinated and unvaccinated spread the virus the same way, then why do you care if someone wants to try their luck and meet the virus without vaccination? Remember, even for 60 year olds, the odds of death are relatively low and absolute majority do survive without any lasting effects.

 

Its about 95% effective, which is same as smallpox, but DON'T TAKE IT. No one cares.

Were they in the high risk groups or young healthy adults? How many breakthrough infections among your friends and family? If you are a healthcare worker your patients don't count.
