Except I don't see it as evidence of racism. I see it as evidence of 'playing the race card' or exploiting race for a political or agenda driven purpose. There was absolutely no other plausible reason to mention the races of the two participants and of a President who never met either one of them or had any direct or indirect contact or connection with these two or their fight.

 

Well, the topic ought to be defused a bit.

It has been proven by research that things always get worse when they first get a bit better, and this of course happened when Obama was elected. No matter what he did, his achievements would not have been able to match black hopes.

The impact of Obama on racism in this country, was always going to be long term and none of it had squat to do with ideology or policies. It had to do with the way minorities in this and future generations perceive their aspirations. It is not unrealistic for blacks, women, Hispanics etc to see the sky as the limit, with respect to their dreams. Before he succeeded, we had the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton Shirley Chisholm, Douglas Wilder, Alan Keyes and Herman Cain from the two parties and there wasn't even a hint we collectively even consider doing this. That is an unmeasurable unquantifiable good.

 

We were robbed of our names, robbed of our language, from a religious standpoint, we are effected by our diet, culturally, families were ripped apart and the most damaging one is we were taught to hate self. Why do you think young black men can kill each other so easily.
