Still be listed an "An Unknown quantity"? I think it is quite insulting to do so, Perhaps you could modify your acceptance rules a bit...??? it is really very "off putting"
Just as a person with say 7000 posts should not be banned as if the Mod/Admins did not know what they were in for ...
if it was based on post count then the rabid posters would dominate it, I think its good they they have it set up.
That message is just attached to your reputation. There are more important things to worry yourself about than something so small.
well , SD , with all respect , maybe those posts you made were of an unknown quality , you know ? ? I'm sure when you make it clear what you stand for , then you won't be an unknown quantity any more ... see there , problem solved ... no worries ...
If I press it, it states : "S.D. is an unknown quantity at this point"...???? Even though I have had 146 posts I have started several very active threads and have been a member since July. posting on average 1.85 posts per day Bit much to still be called "an unknown quantity", don't you think?
Don't worry, doesn't mean anything, Next to your avatar is something indicative of your actual post count, highest being Guru, if I'm not mistaken, but not even that makes a difference in the greater scheme of things. So, stop by the bar now and then, have some tea or whatnot, enjoy, don't worry.
Hover over the green bars. Some phrases show up, depending on # of green bars. Try various poster's, some say different things.
Seriously, you're actually concerned about this? Good lord lady there are people dying over in the desert and this is what you're worried about? Your anonymous reputation on an anonymous internet message board? Not to mention -- do your homework. Your reputation comments are what classify you as an unknown quantity, not your post count.
Without researching the content of the OP's previous "hundred posts", I'm going out on a limb (not really), and calling it.... A leftie.
You see those little scales on the top corner of your posts? If people like your posts, they click that and give you reputation points. When you get more points, the message wil change. The mods and owner can't change it for you; it is determined by the members. You either need to participate more often (the more posts you make the better your odds someone will give you reputation points), or you need to write better posts.
Considering that some people can make 100 posts a day and really say nothing, I would agree that having 100 posts is being an unnkown quanity on the forum.
