Should all congressional leaders be subject to term limits? This just one of the questions we as a nation want answered. At http://300millionmanmarch.com many other issues are addressed in our surveys.

I think all Congress members should have term limits, so yes.

The problem with term limits is that it applies to individuals, but not parties. Now, if we said that each party could not hold a particular seat for more than 12 consecutive years, thus forcing people to vote third-party/independent, we'd really have something.

Absolutly, they should not be wasting time campaing for re-election.

But as long as the broadcast media mogules make massive money off these elections, you can bet term limits will never happen.

Some complain of other countries dictators. You got the same relics in congress and the senate for decades.

I have never been for term limits. If the people want some one to serve for a long time so be it. Why should we add artificial barriers to keep good people from serving until the people decide otherwise?

Now I would like there to be some way to limit the money spent on campains. Like some kind of budget that the canidates have to work within. That I think would go a long way in equalising things.

Absolutely. And the terms should be staggered so that every 12 years every term expires and we get a housecleaning.

I think it should be 4 years. It don't take 12 years to pass a bill, if it did they are not doing their job.

I agree also on limiting campain money influence but that would make the broadcast media less wealthy. HOw about like Brittan, no campain money and force broadcast media to give equal air time.

Also They should pass a bill for anti-insider trading bill for Congressman and Senators. The politicians should be restricted from leaking first hand info to their family friends and BROKERS. And file a disclosure of sale and accuisation of stocks 30 days prior to the trade.
