And, Gore didn't install a "yes man" as head of the Post Office to remove mail boxes and sorting machines in areas unlike to vote "R" and Trump <call them whatever you want. I don't give a damn> want to keep pretending that COVID (Trump mucked up) had NOTHING to do with the increase in mail-in voting. This move alone proves that he knew he couldn't win the election. The same with him bouncing around the idea of issuing an Executive Order forbidding Biden from winning. If he is as popular and loved the way he claims, neither of those pre-emptive strikes would have been necessary.

I also don't believe Gore outright lied and fired his own people for telling him the matter was settled. Trump is literally telling people that he won't endorse them if they don't repeat his dumbass lie. That's extortion of his own party. Is there NOTHING he can do to break their trance? His flying monkeys mob attacked police officers. He put a price on his on VP's head and threw a fit the man survived that day. How is that not a freaking deal breaker for EVERYBODY? It's beyond sick and toxic.

Okay then, you don't have to live in Wyoming to make a direct donation.

I just made my first one. This is for her run for the Senate again. This is a vote for sanity. Donate to Liz Cheney no matter where you live. She is the one bringing down trump. And I believe she is the only non-trumper running. All of the other candidates sounded like complete nuts.

No he didn't, he just did what Gore did and legally tried to challenge the result, both men legally within the law and constitution. I have read the Eastman memo and it doesn't prove anything. Can you not let your TDS go for a moment?

He asked for the crowd to make their voices heard "peacefully and patriotically". The SS driver shot Hutchinson's story full of holes and discredited the entire Jan 6th hearings, they're more likely to hurt the DNC than help them. But Trump WASN'T a brutal despot despite all the fearmongering. YOU just admitted that whatever he did was always wrong for you because you disagree with him, I can't imagine anything more anti-American than that,

Surely if he wanted to stop the recount in counties where he was winning it proves any assertion he was trying to "steal" the election null and void?

Because they were assaulted and the thugs who did so belong in prison. NONE of which constitutes a coup and NONE of which reflects on Trump.

I BELIEVE THAT President Donald J. Trump should begin something of a Prison Ministry......
after he becomes a Praying President during his second term........

which I do believe is happening right now and has been happening since January 21, 2021.......

Guess who he visits in that prison ministry of his........ for old times sake?????????????

Pastor Kim Clement prophesies that Trump will win the 2020 elections

LOL! You do realize that they just got him for seditious conspiracy or a similar charge, right? He attempted to send an armed mob to the Capitol to overthrow an election.

He can certainly open a ministry in prison. I'm all for it.

They've got him for way more than that. I'd still like to read the statistics myself if you don't mind sharing where you found that information.

That is based on interviews over the last two days with legal experts, like GWs former Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales.

I look to him especially because he has never before said that trump had any criminal liability for anything. He has always been very reserved in his comments about trump. But now he says trump is facing serious criminal liability. IIRC he was the first one to use the expression, seditious conspiracy. Others are talking about charges more akin to threatening a Federal Official.

OK. I was shocked when they flipped the switch and absolved the rioters and ignored the cops they attacked. Everyone should have turned their backs on him that day. But, now, I'm just at a loss for words for anybody that still defends him. It should be some kind of entry in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" at this point. How much toxic slime can one overlook? It's just unreal.

I didn't understand what you were saying here. What do you mean they absolved the rioters?

"I was shocked when they flipped the switch and absolved the rioters and ignored the cops they attacked".

Oh, I see what you mean now.

No, I didn't mean that the criminal justice sentence was absolving the rioters. The Orange Stain apologists are spinning it as an "out of hand kegger" or <censoring myself>. Until January 6, 2021, they and their Orange Jesus claimed to be for "Law and Order" but they flipped and sympathized with the *criminals* and dismissed their impact on the Capitol police officers and our traumatized lawmakers that were pleading with him to call for back-up.

One can only conclude that "law and order" doesn't mean what they think it means.

    This is what I mentioned

Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Thursday that former President Donald Trump and his allies could be prosecuted for a number of crimes over the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, including seditious conspiracy and obstruction of Congress.
    https://finance.yahoo.com/finance/news/bush-attorney-general-lists-crimes-013904402.html

While the trump clan is quibbling over minor details, the core of Hutchinson's testimony is already verified through a number of sources, not the least of which trump himself. During the rally he was calling to let in the people with weapons. That confirms what she said.

Trump may well deserve jail time, but when even war criminal Presidents don't get it, he's small potatoes.

Yup. Claiming "well, that lunging for the steering wheel stuff isn't true!" ignores that the point of the testimony wasn't that he tried to grab the steering, it's that he wanted to pretend to be a warrior king and lead his idiots into the Capitol to confront Congress knowing that it would exacerbate a terrible situation.

Moreover, they keep making stupid due process and "hearsay" claims and they ought to know that those legal arguments don't apply at all here.

Most importantly, he knew the mob was armed. That is an established fact.

And she said the incident in the vehicle was told to her by someone else. But it appears that the Secret Service is still confirming the essence of the story. It is only disputed as to whether or not trump actually grabbed the steering wheel.

That is the prosecutors "trump card" when trump is prosecuted for seditious conspiracy.

It seems that witness tampering is taking a front seat as well. But I don't see how that goes back to trump unless the people threatening witnesses turn on trump.

Yes they do, Hutchinson has discredited her testimony, no one can take her seriously. This isn't a trial although it is being presented as one, not least because there's no cross examination.

But where were these weapons? A palpable lack of them in the actual incident.

You don't even know the basics. Most of her testimony has been validated. And what hasn't she said she heard from someone else. What's more. the story is known to other agents in the Secret Service.

Those are the people the Secret Service wouldn't let in but trump was coercing them to do so. It is a matter of record. He did it on camera. Without their fearless leader at the Capitol, they lost their nerve or didn't know what to do. But he wanted to lead an armed mob to the Capitol. We know that. And that is a crime.

"And what hasn't she said she heard from someone else" Eh? We'll see what the other SS agents testify to.
"These are the people the Secret Service wouldn't let in but trump was coercing them to do so", again, what the hell does that mean? "Peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard" that's what it boils down to, all the hearsay and wishful thinking in the world won't change that.

The really loud ones don't know any facts about anything they hate for no real reason. Take a glance at the thread about the 10 year old pregnant girl who is traveling to another state for an abortion. There doesn't appear to be even a rudimentary understanding of how pregnancy occurs. Why would people constantly posit on topics for which it's beyond clear they have not done even a perfunctory peek at what it really is? I'm not claiming to know everything in the world but I don't jump into conversations claiming I know what's best in topics I don't know about. All I can conclude is that they just like to hate stuff and any randomness they make up in their head about why that is only makes sense to them and one another.

Trump had no intention of going with them. He knew that wasn't permitted before the he even spoke that day. He just said that to throw them a bone that he was their fearless leader, tucked tail and went back to watch it all on tv.

So, despite his bone spurs and tiny hands being convenient excuses for cowardice, he HAD to not be engaged directly so he could claim plausible deniability. His attorneys make sure he is always just a centimeter below breaking the law.

Finally, the biggest indication that he never wanted to be in the mix of it all is he went radio silent for over three hours. He could have easily made the argument to his SS detail that those people were there acting on his behalf and he could get them to stop hurting those cops. They just said that he couldn't walk with them but what risk is there to him if he's the Beast or another vehicle and went there to get them to calm down? He outright refused pleas to ask them to calm down. It was reported back then that he had to record his "Judas move" statements to denounce them three times because he didn't want to do it at all.

According to the laws of our land, the only criteria is "What would a reasonable person do in X situation?" None of the above is reasonable. Not one drop of it and he's sweating bullets because he thought he could bully enough people that some of this new stuff would never be found out. He had a temper tantrum last week because he said some media outlet wasn't doing enough to proclaim his innocence. Now, Fox is in hot water for spreading his Big Lie conspiracy. Until now, he's never been held accountable for anything. He had the "benefit" of not being on the world stage so he could just fire people for no reason, lie, steal and cheat and there was nothing anybody can do until now because our government is set up with checks and balances for a reason. And, that's biggest red neon sign confirming his stupidity. As a career criminal con man, it was dumb as hell to apply for the most watched position on the planet. But, he's a dumbass and that's what dumbasses do so I don't care if he's wetting his nappy about the committee. Don't be a criminal and lead other people into becoming criminals and you don't have to worry about being investigated. Easy peasy (for those of us that aren't narcissistic, psychotic, patholical liars with delusions of grandeur).
