    The funny thing is that they believe that Adam & Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil yet they act as if they are totally incapable of knowing the difference between good and evil themselves. It's like the passage where the God character said that he gave the dummies bad laws to see if they were stupid enough to follow them. He found out that they were indeed stupid and didn't have the sense to reject the bad laws.

    I believe that people should have high enough standards that if they don't believe a part of their "best book of all time" then they should improve it.

    An individual Christian has no authority to change the Bible.

    But I didn't ask you what you believe generally.

    I asked you: Do you believe that you must support slavery and stoning gays to be a Christian?

    if God = Jesus and Jesus = God, then anything said by God in the old testament was also said by Jesus as they are the same person

    if the bible is the word of God, then Jesus said every word in the bible

    Which verse is this? It sounds like during Moses time, as he was always (allegedly) testing them?
