    I just got back from my moms. Its so hard being there with her gone. I keep looking up at the kitchen window where she always waved to me and its like time stops and I forget to breath. My brain is saying, don't look up and my heart is saying always look at that window.

    All those times she teased me, 'You're gonna miss me someday'.
    She was right again.

    Good day here. Just hobbled to the deli and got my own lunch for the first time since the boot became a permanent accessory. Wore me out, but I made it!

    My mother told me the same, and she was Right. My younger brother still lives in her Condo. We lost her in March of 2012. My Birthday is the 13th and hers was the 22nd. We had planned to celebrate them together. But she passed on the 11th. March is hard month when it comes around.

    Its been 5 years now and There is not a day that goes by.....that I am not missing her. Every year I call her cell phone just to hear her voice on the message machine. Its amazing that no one to this day has her number. I for one am grateful for it.

    You never get use to not having your Mother, sometimes the familiar habits hurt but help with the grieving.

    We got her from a breeder. She is a pretty little dog and smart, she sees and hears everything.

    That is a sad story MMC. It is nice you get to hear her voice. Maybe you could capture her voice with your cell phone before they delete it.

    Im sorry to hear about your mom. You know, you get that bond that just cant be broken no matter what. The one that time doesn't change and then you think, man am I lucky someone loved me like that. Through it all and the growing up years where they didn't understand and we didn't understand but that love never ever wavered.

    God bless your mom, MMC. She was a good mom and raised a good son.

    Time may heal some things but my dads been dead since I was 10. I never lost that deep love and bond. It still feels the same. But, standing at the cemetery for that last goodbye, its never really goodbye. Its till its your turn to sit at their table.

    Its always about food. That's Italian. Ahahahahaha
