She is small she is a bit larger now than when I took the picture. She is about as large as she will get. She is small next to Cody.

The vet has him on two meds, if these don't work he is going to put him on a medicine they use for horses. The medicine has been used successfully on OCD. If that doesn't work he will have to have surgery.

I read it was about cartilage growth and it not turning to bone. Is that a life long problem or at some point once his growth period is over will it not be a problem?

It is possible he may out grow it, if he doesn't and the meds don't work the vet said surgery. I am hoping he outgrows it..and the meds work. Not looking forward to have him go through surgery.
It is bothersome to see him limping around. He is a beautiful dog, everyone that sees him comments on how pretty he is.
I guess it is like when athletes get torn cartilage. He is so active, not a walk when a run works.

i am not certified in treating medical illness, but DMSO has been used on race horses and human athletes for tissue injuries, pain, circulation, anti inflammatory, etc.. and it is natural from sulfer. it is very cheap on amazon, the one with aloe vera will not burn.

Chocolate is an anti oxidant and it also has a taste that can't be compared. Love, love chocolate. It was my Father's favorite flavor and being a Daddy's girl..I loved anything he liked (except over easy eggs).

Those look good. Im staring at them typing. lol
I normally wont buy deserts like that. Aside from Italian rum cake, if we have a desert, I'll make it. I don't use boxed stuff. Ive saved recipes since I was a little kid and bake from scratch.
Its amazing the difference in taste and texture from store bought or boxed mixes. The stuff Ive eaten that was boxed or store bought normally to me is way too sweet and has a heavy oil type texture.

Store bought cake mixes are only good for nothing... I have never used them, can't use them and won't use them they don't taste right. I recently bought a supposedly home made cake took one bite and tossed it in the trash it was a boxed mix cake. I was so aggravated. They could claim it was homemade but to me that only counts from a scratch cake.

Check the survival odds for any surgery and assess post op suffering.
You might check out the film "Hard Sell" which deals with the dilemma of veterinary surgery - among other things.

The time spent opening the box and plastic bag the fake baking mix came in, you could have measured out some flour, sugar and rising agent. You still have to put eggs, some type of oil/butter and some type of liquid.
Ive never made ice cream. Ive thought about getting a machine on and off over the years but never did. I never was really big on ice cream. Lemon ice in the summer was the way we went or if Mr. Softee came by. Have you ever had ice cream off the Mr. Softee truck? When the truck was far away you could faintly hear this.

It didn't matter if we were swimming underwater. Our ears would pick up the sound. Then whatever we were doing you stopped and started yelling, STOP!!!! STOP!!!! until the truck stopped. Then half chocolate, half vanilla soft cone dipped in that hot chocolate that gets hard. No clue where the money came from. I never remember playing with change in my pockets. lol

We never had that red sign that said stop. If you didn't learn how to cross the street without being run over you were weeded out by nature.

We grew up tough. These kids now a days are soft.
