    That was great!
Imagine walking in the woods, hearing that and following the sound.

That spot is 5 undeveloped acres for sale. A dirt road leads in, there are 3 docks. Best guess is the real estate company built them for potential clients to check the place out, just simple docks nothing fancy. Guess they assume any future owner will remove them and put in a boat lift dock.

Here is a pic from google earth, note the 3 docks and all the trees. I'll be sad when it sells. Its just south of that small creek going in, in fact it runs thru it Screenshot 2021-02-23 at 10.03.01 AM.png

Harp music does have a magical quality about it. I've always been very fond of it.

I agree. I think the same could be said for most soups and stews.

Pretty soon I'll be off to the store to pick up some Guinness...

Ah, white bird of paradise. They are often confused with travelers palms. I have a backyard full of those. Difference, I think, is one gets flowers. The fronds look exactly the same.

So, I prepped to make my first every Shepard's pie today. DOH. I defrosted the ground beef instead of lamb.

My first ever is starting with a main ingredient substitution. My husband will consider it sabotage, since I don't like the potato part of Shepard's pie. I'll eat the stuff under the mashed potatoes.

I also forgot to buy Guinness.

Wronged ! I spent 5 years as a Homebrewer.I always kind of liked Guinness.
It was The only Beer that I could drink with a hangover.Maybe because it
was not really strong { around 3 % alc. } but loaded with stuff that added the
right kind of nutrients. Then about 20 years ago Guinness came out with
    a Draft beer in cans.The stuff was God Awful.I couldn't drink it.And I'm not
one them beer snobs. It was kinda watery and very off-tasting { bitter }.
I had a leftover 4-6 pack in my basement for like 10 years.

Have you considered building a lodge, dressing as a Seminole Indian and daring them to evict you from your native land? You could rally the local woke liberals to support you.

That's OK, when you make it with beef it's just called cottage pie instead. Still a historic peasants dish just a different ground up animal in it. BTW Worcester sauce is the traditional secret ingredient.

Yes, Guinness stopped making making ''draft'' in bottles which had live yeast in it and moved over to dead keg beer in cans. It went from being a real ale to a lousy substitute. There was an outcry at the time but Guinness refused to change their mind as it was cheaper to make so more profitable.

OK ... Mr.Fishermann . What does shark taste like.Or at least make a
comparison.Like what could taste worse ... a Nice Young healthy shark
or a very well fed Amazon River Piranha.

LOL, and the local meth heads. There is a stolen minivan abandoned there, the tweekers have been stripping it down. Most all the parts will fit my van but I aint touching it.

I found it just driving around one day, saw a dirt road, the river and no gate or no trespassing sign. Been there many times now, no one has said anything, even some respectable local sorts, go there.

It's 20 miles south of my house, next county down. The Gulf of Mexico is not to far off, that's inside Charlotte Harbor. Many homes on that road probably exceed 1 million $.

Never ate piranha but I'd sure try some. My deep fryer is fired up on the porch, right now. You got any? Bet they are good eatin. I prefer shark deep fried in nuggets, many like it grilled. It's a nice white meat, mild and juicy

My father's side of the family is from County Cork. Back in the '70s he tracked our relatives in Ireland down and paid them a visit. It was pretty cool - I imagine there aren't many Americans who have been able to do that, especially if their families emigrated here over a hundred years ago,

I get it.Not to be confused or conflated with Miss Smarties new
    Meatloaf recipe { Texas No Hassle Ho Holds Woke version }
that fixes in a jiffy { under 10 minutes } where meat is not allowed
and just limited seasonings. When said dish is presented there is
no backing out." You'll eat what's on yer plate and like it "
A version of the popular 5o's directive " You'll eat what's on yer
Plate and Learn to like it. ".

I freakin' forgot the Worcestershire. Dumbass. My fault for being on the phone with a friend while putting it all together. All in all, it tasted great, though. Not bad for try one. Pics soon.

It's a date! Is there a Mrs. FatBack?

I was actually born in Worcester but most Worcestershire sauces are off limits for me because they contain fish, anchovies to be precise.
There are a few vegetarian versions but they're not really the same.
