Tell that woman I played the best hide and go seek hiding in a dumpster. A mother to climb out and hit the home area. No one ever finds you when you push the bags and (*)(*)(*)(*) on top of you and if they do they dont wanna touch you to tag you. The queen of hide and go seek! You learn this (*)(*)(*)(*) young. That's good news. Come to Texas. We'll put ya up til you can go back home. Hurricanes are scary because people sometimes think it's all hype. Hell, if we get a good thunderstorm in Dallas, some fool reporter is gonna stand out in the rain and break in on Judge Judy to tell us how bad it is.

Don't stick around... get the heck outta dodge.

    Hi Daisy,

I just saw the latest path projection. Now it's looking like PCB-Destin area is the target. **sigh**

Regardless, I wish you guys the very best. And agree, clear out, better safe than sorry.

Yeppers, that is in my range..oh, geez.. Hurricanes are unpredictable and meteorology is not a perfect science. Once he hits the warm waters of the Gulf it is a swag...

Some of this area is recovering from the oil spill and Ivan.. Ivan was a messy fellow, he blew out the bridge to Pensacola but the new bridge is very nice. Pity it took Ivan to convince the DOT it needed replacement.

LOL, we used to have so much fun talking about decorating her dumpster. I threw her a trashbin-warming party once when she had tomove and everybody gave her linens and her patterns of chipped crystal and china and stuff... I remember, I gave her new floweredy curtains. You know, to liven the place up??

LMAO... the best part... for the longest time, Foolie accused ME of being Scummy. Sometimes I think he still has a little doubt I'm not her... but I assure you, we're two different people.

Speaking of Jerry Springer... OK, so we weren't... I've got one friend in the hospital and one friend in jail this weekend. I flipped a coin and decided there's nothing I can do to help either one. But man, my phone's ringing off the wall. *inserts earplugs*

[edited to add: the one in the hospital isn't serious and neither is the jailbird. One is enjoying a staff of nurses jumping to his every whim and the other has a g/f... not my respon... jic y'all thought I'm a hard-hearted wench... you're right, I am!!!]

Grinders are like hero's or subs. I dont know what you call them down south. Long bread with sausage, peppers, onions, some fresh tomato, basil, Italian grating cheese and melted mozzrella. Hurricanes are a reddish pink drink. I have no idea whats in them but after a few it wont matter anyway. lol

They have every kind of lottery you can imagine here. Once I was buying a lottery ticket and this man told me to buy this twenty dollar ticket it was a sure thing. I looked at my twenty dollars and looked at him. I bought the ticket and won two hundred dollars. He said he had just bought two tickets and lost so the next ticket had to be the winner. It was...

Ain't it so. Did serve one purpose though... made me thankful I'm not where they are. Notice I've had a little more pep in my step than usual today. LOL

Dedicated to my friend's g/f... have fun, honey!

I know wht you mean..some of these people here spend a fortune on lottery..they have a whole stack of tickets when they walk out the door. That twenty dollar ticket was a splurge for me..I argued with myself for a while about that one..and after I won...I was like, WOW. I know that gambling is only for the one selling the chances not the buyer..

Is that smoked sausage? When I see Italian sausage in Publix it looks like it is fresh packed in the casing. What kind of peppers and Italian grating cheese, parmesan or what kind?.. I grate my own parmesan.. Maybe french bread could be the long bread. Gonna make my own sammich...

Well when all of you get tired of all of those tornados and hurricanes, just mosey on over to jackson wy.
Cause we don't get either one of those nasty things. We just read about what they do elsewhere. Of course we do get a little snow now and then but that is fun and games time.
