    Its what we do, really simple. Either we go potluck, or just have some simple dish, give money to charity instead of giving gifts, and reflect on the reason for the season.

    My kids ARE my charity....LOL Seriously, the boys look forward to the new socks and underwear every year, plus one good gift each. The meal is good and hearty, whatever I fix, because they all realized a long time ago how much they miss mama's cooking.

    Well, not officially, but did venture outta the house today and lived thru it. Dang cold here -- HIGH today was 42 and misting rain & snow. Downright nasty! If I managed to do a lil shopping in this mess, guess I'm good to go back to work tomorrow.

    Spaghetti & meatballs, green salad, garlic toast on the stove. I'm sure it can't hold a candle to you Italianos, but it's hot & filling! Dig in, y'all!

    Good morning everyone. Todays breakfast is for Smartie. It is simple yet filling. Just what she needs to help her get through the day and stay strong. So enjoy it, stay healthy and live long and prosper.

    For the tally books, it is now 11 below and still falling. Yep, it is now starting to get cold. I have the car's block heater plugged in when it is not running.

    Not to worry my dear. As a young child I watched another kid do just that on a dare. I know that it must have been painful, but I have never laughed so hard in my life at his stupidity. Well at least there is no snow for me to shovel today. Stay warm and don't over do it.
