    EXCEPT MAYBE SOME HEAT!!!

    23 degrees in Big D this morning! Brrrrrrrrr! At least it's gonna be sunny. Might even warm up to 40 this afternoon!

    Here's a little advice for a cold winter's morning:

    A doctor on TV said to have inner peace during the holidays, we should always finish things we start; and we all could use more calm in our lives.

    I looked around my house to find things I’d started and hadn’t finished… so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminum scriptins, an a box of chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now. Sned this to all who need inner (*)(*)(*)(*). An telum u luvum!

    My old doctor once gave me this advise.

    When you get a bad cold the best thing I can tell you to do is get yourself a bottle of good scotch and a good women and go to bed with both of them. No, this won't cure your cold but it will sure make you forget about it for a while.

    I LOVE the new avatar! Linda's quite the sexy one, isn't she? Umm..that IS Linda, right? I don't want to get halfway thru this campaign and have all these women crawling out of the woodwork, claiming they had steamy affairs with you in the past.

    I was in Costco the other day pushing my cart around when I collided with a
    young guy...

    I said to the young guy, "Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife and
    guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

    The young guy says, "That's OK. It's a coincidence. I'm looking for my
    wife, too. I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate."

    I said, "Well, maybe we can help each other. What does your wife look
    like?"

    The young guy says, "Well, she is 24 years old, tall, with blond hair, big
    blue eyes, long legs, and she's wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and
    no bra. What does your wife look like?"

    I said, "Doesn't matter --- let's look for yours."

    Older guys are helpful like that

    For sure, and if we can't find a bar to re-locate to, we can just use the campaign bus. I'll fix it up as a bus/concession stand. We'll make some extra money for the campaign.

    I must be getting well 'cuz I'm starting to panic about my lack of Christmas spirit, aka motivation to get all this crap done. Got a lovely box of Godiva Chocolates via UPS today... from the sil I stayed with at her house on the gulf. The card read, "Merry Christmas, we loved having you here... come back anytime!"

    Talk about tempting... I was halfway out the door before I realized I can't go anywhere. Got cooking & shopping & cleaning & wrapping & partying & volunteering & candy-making & DECORATING to do.

    Think I said this last year, but next year, I'm going to Vegas for Christmas. Y'all remind me in Oct, would ya?
