    I was just thinking the same thing - so much to do if I could get out of the office. Everyone should have a week off before Christmas, now have to cram everything into the weekend, as usual! Oh well. :mrgreen:

    Aw man.....that sucks for OT and his family.
    So close to Christmas too.....
    Prayers for a speedy recovery and continued progress at rehab.
    (Those rehab people don't mess around!)

    We miss you OT and please know we're thinking of you and someone else can handle breakfast whist you take care of yourself.

    Smartie! Quit messing with the jukebox/page turner!! Is not funny anymore....now I cain't git to the 'next' page (I'm a looking at trying what should be page 39 and it won't let me. Not fair, I din't even talk politics in this he-ah fine establishment!)

    I still can't get past page 38.
    Why have I been banned from the bar?

    Last I heard, she said he'd regained about 70% of his speech in just a few days, so that's a good sign. I'm getting the info 2nd hand, so haven't talked to his family. I bet she's taking real good care of him.

    Funny you should mention "Mama's Home Cooking Delights" -- I stopped by Norma's Diner and ordered Christmas dinner on the way home tonight. Turkey, dressing, candied yams, turnip greens, pumpkin pie. Mmmmm, I'm sure it'll be just as tasty as if I cooked it myself! (prob better!)

    Did I fix the bar or will you be taking credit for that?

    He's a tough guy. He got that going for him and his old lady loves him and he loves her. Thats a winner right there. If you do speak directly...directly..if you speak.."directly" to OTimer or his wife tell them both Im praying for them and hang in there OTimer you'll be better soon.

    I tried to get in here yesterday and just didn't have the patience required to wait. It it ain't easy right now, forget it! LOL

    Hubby and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary yesterday. I had a beautiful dozen roses with holly berry and evergreen delivered to me, then we ate at a little pub last night and drove downtown to see the lights, then back home. All in all, a very nice day.

    I know what you mean about the site... it's becoming impossible to pop in here anymore. Everything is so slow... and now I'm getting 'server is too busy' messages numerous times a day.

    It's maddening. Notice my signature line... I think it's probably the world's oldest promise now... been up there since about 2005. LOL

    I hope you and your's have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, too.

    I just asked to start my vacay tomorrow and it's approved. Since this is a real good place to take a nap right now, I don't think I'll be missed much. Got to finish my shopping, then get ready to enjoy myself for a couple of weeks.

    I know...he is at such a great age this year, too. If there is a Christmas tree in his presence, it's got to have the lights on. My sweet patootie....:)
