    Good morning everyone. Well here it is Thursday morning aand another weekend is now creeping up on us. At 4:30am this morning the temperature is 18 degrees and will probably fall at least another 4 or 5 degrees. Oh well another day up in the mountains. Us locals really don't start to complain about it being cold until it gets below -20 degrees. Yep that is minus 20 folks. Well I hope that all of you enjoy breakfast this morning and have a really great day today.

    We're on the same wavelength, darlin... stopped by 7/11 for a biscuit & sausage this morning... since I skipped dinner last night. Gravy is a plus!

    G'morning, y'all! 41 degrees here this morning... that's cold for us! Another warm-up for the weekend, though... so we'll survive.

    My Friday... let's get 'er done!

    yumyum, OT! You can have the weather...but I'll definitely take a mess of them biscuits and gravy!


    It is a perfect 45 here this am. Slept with the windows open. Threw an afghan over my sheet about 3am. cooozzzzzyyyyy!

    The Montana Department of Employment, Division of Labor Standards claimed a small rancher was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to investigate.

    GOV’T AGENT: “I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them.”

    RANCHER: ”Well, there’s my hired hand who’s been with me for 3 years. I pay him $200 a week plus free room and board.

    Then there’s the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also sleeps with my wife occasionally.”

    GOV’T AGENT: “That’s the guy I want to talk to - the mentally challenged one.”

    RANCHER: “That would be me.”

    Truthfully, I like the solitude of driving alone - I can belch, fart, scratch myself, sing "Don't Stop" horribly off-key, pick my nose, and generally amuse myself through juvenile pursuits without having anyone offended.
