WW is all about points. You get so many a day and you can use 'em however you want. I do WW Online which means I keep track of every morsel that goes in my mouth. LOL, it's not as bad as it sounds... but you do become obsessed with saving points. For instance, I've been desperately shopping around for a beverage I like besides sweet tea. Hate diet drinks nearly as much as I hate writing down points for something I only drank and didn't get to chew! Found one today. Snapple Diet Tea.. 1/2 tea, 1/2 lemonade. Not bad and only 10 cals. Don't have to count that at all!

See, obsessive behavior is also part of the program.

In answer to the question about how many points in the wrapper... I'd have to enter the ingredients in my food tracker and it would tell me how many points it is. I assure you I wouldn't waste a point eating plastic.

You can get an app for your smart phone that will allow you to scan the barcode of packaged food and it'll convert it into points. I saw a girl do it with a bag of Fritos. Too big brother for me. Confessing to the computer is bad enough.

Sorry - couldn't resist that. Even I can spot the State Fair of Texas (the sign by the cows was a dead giveaway!).

So it calculates everything and not just calories and you get a certain amount of points you can use in a day?
    Sounds cool.
Good luck. I know how hard it is. Its metabolism and I dont care what anyone says. I live with thin people who consume major amounts of food that if I did Id be 700lbs. Its the feast or famine thing. Some people are built for feast. When there is an abundance of food around they thrive. Burn it off quickly. Some people are built for famine. When there is not a lot of food around they can run their bodies on minimal amounts of food and survive.
In other words if there was a food shortage in the world the feast people would drop like flies and the famine people would live to populate. The thing that amazes me and is confusing is tricking your body. I can go days without eating and not be hungry. But at some point, so I hear, your body goes into we're starving mode and slows down the burn process. If you dump some food in, it thinks ah ok we're fine burn. How? If I tell my brain there is food. If I see the food, why the hell is my brain saying to my body no food? Chemical. So chemical functions from signals in your brain are actually stronger than the senses or thought patterns. Chemical rules.

Why did I just say all that? lol

Y'all need to do Yoga and run. You see, if you run fast enough, the calories can't catch up.

A fire destroyed Big Tex this morning at the State Fair of Texas.

The blaze was reported shortly after 10:15 a.m. at the fairgrounds in Dallas, where the fair is in its final days this weekend.

"It's a very sad day for all fair-goers," fair spokeswoman Sue Gooding said. "It's a sad way to end the fair."

Well hello out there in cyber world. Would you believe that I just got out of bed. I have been in bed for some time now, Doctors orders. It seems that a couple of weeks ago I was moving some stuff around in the shed outside, when all of a sudden I just didn't want to move any more. Seems to be that a nerve in my back decided to take off and go traveling around on it's own. It somehow moved to an area between the vertabrea and any movement at all became extremly painful. It took me at least 45 minutes to get from the shed to inside to make a phone call. A distance of about 15 feet. Although it seemed like five miles. After two days in the hospital with about five million pokes and prying as well as ten thousand xrays for them to find out what hapened to me.

They finally got tired of me and threw me out and told me to go home. So the doctor said bed rest and that is final. Well I guess that the nerve decided to go back where it belonged because I can move somewhat. I still have some problems getting up and down but at least I can now start moving again.

I am not sure just how much I will be online for a while, but I should be able to move a whole lot better in about two weeks, at least that is what the doctors are telling me now. But what the hell do they know. Well it is now time for me to go for a walk. That is to the kitchen for some coffee and then back to the couch. Shouldn't take me more than 15 to 20 minutes. So ta-ta for now cretins. Don't worry I'll try not to get any speeding tickets.
