    98 at 11:30. We just got an announcement that we should turn off all unnecessary lights, appliances and computer equipment to reserve power.

    Darn, they should've just said go home and they coulda turned the whole bldg off! :sun:

    WOO HOO! Just bought my airline tickets for Galveston... and got a car reserved. Got the room confirmed... all I need now is for it to be Sept 4!

    I have walked barefoot in the snow and it is a bit uncomfortable. If given the choice I would walk barefoot in the snow rather than tiptoe barefoot across sizzling asphalt..:-D Have done both and believe me snow is better.

    The barefoot snow walk was in the Big Horn mountains just to see what it felt like..it was cold and I am a fast learner. The barefoot tiptoe walk was done many times ....I can really run fast on tiptoes when the asphalt is hot...:omg:.
