The "so called Christian right elected someone that said, "Tell them to go (*)(*)(*)(*) themselves".

They elected the guy that bragged about grabbing women by their (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), and then denied it when women said he had done it to them.

Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruits. A good tree does not produce bad fruit."

Jesus also said, " Many will come to me on the last day and say DIDN'T I CAST OUT DEMONS IN YOUR NAME, AND DIDN'T I PROPHECY IN YOUR NAME?, and Jesus will answer them, "I know you not, you are workers of iniquity."

Jesus also said, "You can not serve God and Mammon, you can not serve two masters."

The "so called" Christians have made their choice.

the religious right only uses religion as a political tool, nothing more

I think Trump will learn to use the tool, Pence will teach him....

Should they have voted for the mass murdering, lying, name calling globalist or not vote at all? Amazing that only the religious right should be called hypocrites when the only candidate they can support is elected. But hey, I am sure you are about to get to the thread where you call muslims, gays, blacks, women and OWS people hypocrites for voting for Hillary right? The left defends all of them and they all clash in ideology to each other. Oh, not to mention those are the people who are "ok" with super delegates for the primaries but hate the electoral college.

Well you're welcome to show how that is so.

No one is perfect, but between a choice of Cankles or Trump, well, Trump is a clear winner.

Obviously. Since he won and all.

I see you have no argument against it. I thought so.

But then, the left has been wrong about so much lately.

These so called Christians voted for a human, who ran with a policy of limiting abortion. Nothing more, nothing less. Trump simply fit in with their own agenda.

I personally don't know a single Christian, so called or not, that thinks humans are Divine.

Not surprised that you believe voting for a president equates to belief in religion especially with your Messiah leaving office.

With some of the people Mr. Trump has in his inner circle, He has the ability to make that mass murdering Mrs. Clinton look like Mother Teresa.

The religious right, or white, maybe a better term, are complete hypocrites. They do not following the teachings of Jesus, but appear to behave like the God of the O.T.
Of course, they have fabricated Jesus to be a white republican from either Indiana or Alabama, not the brown skinned Palestinian Jew that was the real Jesus.
The white evangelicals prey on the poor much the same way a payday loan company does. Not your best group of dudes to use as Christian role models.

My personal opinion is that it's actually a good sign. When religious conservatives have 'evolved' to the point where they can now accept an atheist leader, your country is heading in the right direction.

Please take a minute to think about this. Many American atheists moan about the demand for those in public office to be Christians, and quite openly dislike the expectation of it from conservatives. Well, now they've moved past that old hurdle to genuine secularism in state affairs, yet you're still complaining?

    OK.

Replying to your first sentence. Clinton represented the anti-Christian vote as the Democratic Party has actively fought Christian beliefs. Trump is the lesser of two evils in that regard so not voting for Trump would mean a sure win for the greater of two evils.

Personally I don't think the religious vote was the deciding factor in this election. As Hillary's husband's campaign once said, "it's the economy stupid".

Exactly. So your Christians have evidently moved past their total bigotry in regards to atheism. They've shown that when the chips are down, they WILL vote for country, ahead of Jesus. That's the best thing to have happened to your culture in a long time, in MHO.

Nice to see Americans are still following the script laid out for us. Its pretty sad when neither candidate was worth voting for. We should ( and many are) protesting the corrupt 2 party system.
Not in the same way those morons who were vandalizing and crying because their candidate didn't win.
I'm not sure what good it will do, but its a heck of a lot more productive than ongoing bashing and making up reasons why people vote as they do.

You can bet that a lot of Dems popped champagne when Hillary lost. They are finally rid of the Clintons and now have a chance to move up.

Speculation. Why not wait till he actually does something of the sort.

So you are saying the left keeps to its standards? Should I remind you that the left supports Islam AND homosexuals, and Islam clashes by killing gays.
Pretty sure no one was making the case for Donald to be the champion of the religious right.
Huh, we don't, you are using them to put up as a strawman against the right. BTW, the only time I saw Trump in any religious setting was in black churches, namely the one with Don King speaking for him. Trump is no where near the political spectrum of evangelicals.
