There is technically an option 3 - the waste your vote option. Stein, Johnson, Castle were never going to get enough votes to even matter much less win. Stein and Castle are trivialities, Johnson/Weld are not libertarians even though they ran under the libertarian party banner (Weld practically endorsed Hilary, Hilary is the anti-libertarian).

 

I mean like the same people who preach about family values and godliness voting for Trump who has neither, and actually commits many of the "family value" sins those same voters normally condemn. And of course there is his pro-choiceness and seeming lack of any real loyalty to a religion(other than money of course).

I'm not surprised when liberals vote for Hillary Clinton, just like I wasn't surprised that conservatives voted for Bush and Romney.

I'm very surprised when socially conservative people vote for a man like Trump. Should we believe these folks in the future when they start telling us again that so-and-so is a morally corrupt person when they've shown they can set aside that same morality when they themselves vote? What grounds does anybody who voted for Trump have to condemn those who voted for Clinton?

Probably been pointed out already, but it isn't assault in most states unless it could reasonably be deemed -- by a jury, not by the Huffington Post editorial board -- to be non-consensual. Trump's version is that these women allowed the touching, even welcomed it. Personally, I wasn't there or inside the women's heads (and neither were you), and so I have no idea.

Typical statute, though I don't know where the president-elect encountered these women:

(b) A sexual assault under Subsection (a)(1) is without the consent of the other person if:
(1) the actor compels the other person to submit or participate by the use of physical force or violence;
(2) the actor compels the other person to submit or participate by threatening to use force or violence against the other person, and the other person believes that the actor has the present ability to execute the threat;
(3) the other person has not consented and the actor knows the other person is unconscious or physically unable to resist;

 

It turns out Hillary does call herself a christian. A methodist. So why did she not defend God when Jay Z disrespected God? First Jay Z sang a song that completely degraded women and then after using the N word multiple times he said "Middle finger to the lord. N**** grip i'm a boss". Hillary never once said anything to him about that and she was on stage with him at a rally wanting us christians to vote for her. Seriously? So how can she be a christian and not even defend God? I'm sorry but I can't and will not support or vote for the evil and fakeness of Hillary Rodham Clinton. It was either Trump or Hillary for president. I don't want someone who does not care about my God running the country. She only cares about herself. I know i'm not supposed to judge her and I honestly don't hate her but she should have defended God like any christian would have. Instead she was more concerned about votes.

Trump has made his mistakes but a lot of the accusations against him have yet to be proven. Between the two it's easy to see why most christians supported Trump.

 

Seems that quite a number of Americans voted for what they considered to be the "lesser of two evils", if they had voted for a third option and had managed to win enough states to stop either Clinton or Trump gaining the Electoral votes they required, it would have surely sent a message to both parties that their candidates were crap.

From a purely Christian perspective, they should be seen as relatively equal.

Stealing a cracker is the same as stealing a car. Sin is sin.

 

To what end? So the election goes to the House to determine who is President, then what? They would appoint an establishment drone like Hilary or "Jeb!" and there would be certain disaster. The only option for anyone who wants to derail the train from its course off the cliff was to vote for Trump.

 

You just want someone to blame. Towards the end I had every intention of voting for Trump, but I chose a write in. Basically I wasted my vote.
