But they are wrong. We actually have very little influence on climate. On decadal to millennial time scales, it's mostly determined by the sun, as it has been for billions of years.

 

Their support for a creature like Trump is certainly deplorable -- but then, supporting Hillary would be deplorable, too. I guess the difference is that it should take a lot less intelligence to understand why supporting Trump is deplorable than it takes to understand why supporting Hillary is deplorable.
