So there is a conspiracy to falsely accuse toddlers of being terrorists and then attempt to correct the mistake due to name commonality? I didnt see much of merit here, not that there have not been violations of privacy as allowed by the patriot act, I just do not see this as very profound.
There are several reasons for this. They can just as easily slip in else where. Homeland security accounts for about 2% of all boats which enter the U.S. Its not a conspiracy and entry certainly does not depend on the U.S/Mexican border.
    Its warm all year round.
Just as they may on a boat or student visa, (as many of them have). Im taking it you frequent infowars.com?

Agreed, many profess a love for democracy yet so eagerly strap up to go to work in a dictatorship.
I had most certainly considered this, what about competing worker owned companies within the same region or state? There must be some sort of protection, competition law perhaps? (Anti trust in the U.S) I imagine the law works differently in the EU. I havent had much time to look into this as I am (possibly overly) busy with american politics.

You'd have to assume competition is a bad thing. It isn't. Indeed, its competition that drives innovation (something the firm shouldn't shy away as it isn't hampered by the destruction of human capital through alienation)

Nothing is required (except for the standard corrections for possible market problems, such as the need for a minimum wage)

Yes, I know the benefits of competition. Norway has no need for a minimum wage. It is actually speculated that if one was implemented it would actuallly reduce worker wages.

If you correct a mistake you don't continue to keep the same person on the list. And just because the government puts certain people on the terrorist list does not mean that they are a terrorist. The government has committed far more terrorist act than any one in America. Should'nt it be the government that is on a watch list? What if the government is commiting acts of terrorst just so that they can impose its will against the people? Shouldn't you be one of them that is watching the government?

I never said it was.....but it is a border that they refuse to pay as much attention to as they do the airports. If a real terrorist is going to do something he sure is not going to go to an airport or take a plain. Anyone with any sense is going to go where they will be least detected.....and the U.S Mexican border is the least manned.

Warm year round or not Mexican are crossing the border everyday 24/7, winter, spring, summer and fall.....they are entering the U.S illegally, and a terrorist can do the same from Mexico.

Within market socialism we'd of course expect a vibrant SME sector (even more so than in capitalism). Small firms are found to pay lower wages. We'd expect that with simple monopsony criteria (as shown by Burdett and Mortensen's job search model). A minimum wage is then crucial

No, they still fly, most of them arrive here in planes.
Yes they could but they dont have to, the only things that really come across the mexican border are mexicans and marijuana of low quality. Terrorists might begin using it as a gateway but its much too arduous a trek for them when they could just come through by way of plane. Do you know what those mexicans go through to get here? Guides walk them through the desert
Seldomly resting and then go to safe houses where they often times hold mexicans against there will until the families deliver the rest of the transport payment. What Jihadist wants to go through that. How are they supposed to pray five times a day, that would cost more to have the guides wait for them.

Anyway, im all for a little thread derailing but I do not want to disrespect the OP too bad as he's never done anything to me. I suggest we continue this elsewhere.

Really? What we need is more freedom and less leftist loserism and scientific hegemony in the guise of the EPA and their unreaslistic and incompetent regulations.

    What sophisticated terminology.
Might you explain how the EPA is hegemonic? I know a sewage worker who is constantly trying to dodge them as he claims that dumping waste into the river makes the math easier.

You are so right! It is quite sophisticated. The term encompasses the entire spectrum of neo-communist progressives un-American behaviors and attitudes with out the cumbersome delineations of separating them from one another based on context and using one term "leftist loser" in a generic expression that is clearly understood by all.

The EPA is hegemonic in that it makes declarations of standards based upon their imaginations and wishes but not applicable science that already exists and are not accountable to anyone not even congress. But, that is the fault of the congress that was in session when FDR was in the white house when they subordinated themselves to the executive without over sight or input.

No, you are un-american for suggesting the aforementioned to be un-american.
I suppose you have evidence to back these outlandish claims?

I have many sources which I draw information from, not just one or two like so many others. I have read and talked about the EPA. I was asking you to defend your position with evidence supporting your claim that they are hegemonic.

This is just one of about 1000000 from a simple search.

    http://www.dairyherd.com/dairy-news/latest/AFBF-spokeswoman-One-year-reprieve-on-EPA-regulations-possible-136227728.html

They are hegemonic because they are unaccountable and may issue what ever regulations they wish whenever they wish and no one can challenge them. And they can make their proclamations based on the flimsiest of science, thats how we got "Global warming". Scientific hegemony.

So out of 10,00,000 thats the best you could get? There was supposedly a regulation about regulating dust but then they asked about it and theres not going to be dust regulation. Then there is going to be a regulation against child labor on farms. That is truly a hegemonic totalitarian regime if I ever heard of one. Grab the guns and fortify the cellars. Get little johnny in the garret on watch duty.
But really agriculture is always going to be the subject of regulation debate as it has been since the transition from agriculture to manufacturing back during the depression years. Many farmers have recieved checks just to not grow anything. Their existence is due to regulation. 2% of americans currently produce more food than the U.S could ever consume.
I dont see any such hegemony with this either.

So you are saying cryoconite is make believe?

Whew, way over your head. You do not get that congress is the regulating authority, not the executive branch. But O'Bama voters are a strange bunch to be sure.

I am not willing to give my liberty and freedom to a bunch of America hating leftist losers who wish me to accept that they are smarter than me because they say so. Protecting the environment is one thing that I am all for, but making stuff up because they have already achieved compliance in everything else just to secure their jobs is called "bureaucratic invention".

Jesus. A poster named JohnGalt arguing for socialism. I've seen it all. Perpetuating the myth that socialism is simply big government, when socialism, by definition, is labor in control of the state. I seriously don't know who is more out of touch with the economics they came to support. American rightists or American leftists.

Ok I want to get something straight with all seriousness without going on my usual ******* bashing routine...

Many of you see the European (albiet broken) political scale where the far left is communism and far right is facism. Total goverment or any type of "ism" is the opposite side of the same coin. What needs to be understood that the proper scale is the left is all total government intervention no matter what name it falls under while the right is total liaze-faire or total anarchy. Neither extreme is the best way to go about this issue of labor, income and wealth.

I don't know about you but you do not mix the fiscal conservatives with the Old Guard Republicans (OGRs) because one is for the individual responsibility of income and wealth while the other marches at the toon of crony capitalism. I know some of you are going to lambaste this as that I'm splitting hairs but allow me to explain.

Capitalism is the face name which the communists gave to the big companies back in the day and time when communism was being concieved and practiced that there was huge monopolization and total neglection of many things we take for granted. The problem still persists today only on a new scale and at a different level.

Communism, Socialism or any other ism, including capitalism are imperfect. They're actually the antithesis something called the "Free Market". Free Market and Capitalism are not the same thing. There is a distortion between the two. Free Markets is no limitations to all and for the good of all, but without equal results. Capitalism is no limitations to a priviledged few to benefit all.

Communism or any collectivism is total limitation or the bounding of all in order to give a false senses of equality. Equality is something that cannot be achieved, even in a utopia. Human Nature is the biggest impedement least you make everyone into slaves or mindless drones to believe in the system. It is the total abolition to Freedom. You simply let nature run its course. In other words I believe Free Market is the most consistent in the "non-interventionalist" venue. Before you socialists start nagging me on worker's rights and protection, a pure free market the workers are not at the bottom of the food chain as you may think.

I know this needs serious clarification but I'm a little buzzed at the moment.

    Please do.
Incorrect, the differences between laissez faire (whether suggested as a theory or actual practice) and fascism have been explained several times on these most excellent fora. As a newly registered member it is likely you havent viewed all too much here, yet still speak of what 'many' regard as fascism.
Fiscal conservative? This country was founded on debt and the ability to raise money, even though there was a chance of not being able to pay it back.
There is distortion in your analysis and ability to convert thoughts into writing.
Where do you get this stuff from?
No, a utopia cannot be achieved even with equality.
Why do you post like an illegal mexican speaks?
Oh, Ok, I knew it was something.
