I was watching an old episode of a series "The Invisible Man" from 1958. In a particular scene the Invisible man is playing a game of skittles with a young girl (Maybe 10 years old) Any the point of the scene is the Invisible man is knocking over extra skittles and cheating because he is invisible. They did not seem to think through the problem that the only way the invisible man could be totally invisible is to be totally naked
You had no trouble suspending disbelief enough to accept the invisible part, but the clothing/naked bit was too much for you to buy, eh? Got it!
Or how about this: the Invisible Man would also be blind. Presumably he is invisible because light passes right through him, instead of reacting normally. But the eye works because light creates an inverted image on the retina. If light could create no such image, sure no one could see him, but he couldn't see anything at all.
