    Christian views are predicated on there being a magical piece of totally indetectable ?? called a soul.

    And, Christianity has been all over the place on what that could possibly amount to.

    The idea of writing laws against women based on this bit of religious whoo haw is absolutely unconstitutional.

    That it is a human life at the most earliest stages. And its development of what it is, its uniqueness is already mapped out at creation. All it needs now from year 0 to to year 25 is nourishment and time.

    Will you still say it is "pretty accurate" when I use the same exact type of analogy to make pro-life arguments?

    Because I seem to remember numerous pro-choicers ridiculing me because that sort of argument allegedly sounded absurd to them.

    Does she think that the baby magically gains consciousness the second it's born?

    She very clearly did NOT say that! In fact, it is central to her argument that she did not say that.

    So, maybe you should read what she said and respond to THAT!

    A fetus is an unborn baby. I'm not the one who created this magical transition into personhood upon birth.

    She said that without speaking the words. She needs magical language to sound less stupid

    Without context, I'm not sure what you're getting at. But I'm certain it would be morally relativistic as all pro-life arguments are. Don't get me wrong, both sides of this use morally relative arguments, but only one side is honest about it.

    It is not at all "magic". Once the child is born it gains awareness of the world and can start exercise its consciousness to learn about it.

    Magic is when anti-abortionists claim some fairytale sky-fatjer blows a soul into a sperm and an egg as they unite.

    Opposing abortion is anti-life.

    Conservatives clearly have problem with "25+:ers". I think Ben Shapiro once said that anyone who is unmarried by 25 is a bad person. :laughing:
