Well if the vax protects you, then isn't that all it is Joe? I mean, I really don't think any leftist "in this scenario/environment" fits the Mother Teresa bill ;)

I love how people say that any adverse reactions are you know just a very rare and small amount....

I'm sure that's great comfort and solace to the people who it does affect in their world it's 100% reality..... But you know suck it up buttercup the greater good and all...

LOL! Not even close. Big difference between talking about the death rate in general and celebrating an individual person's death.

Because CV-19 kills less than 1%, while the high voltage wire kills 100$. You make so much sense! ROFL!

    You seem to like statistics.

I have another one for you: 95% of people vaccinated don't die from the virus.

No. The topic was shaming people who have chosen, as is and should be their right, not to be vaccinated to get vaccinated because a 50 yo unvaccinated State Trooper died. Which is a really sad thing, and I feel bad for him, his family, his State Trooper family, and anyone who knew him. But it was his choice to make, and there are a lot of unvaxxed people out there who are still among the living.

It's not that I don't recommend getting vaccinated, I do. And I am fully vaxxed myself. But I also recognize the inherent right of a free person to choose not to do so.

If someone who is young and healthy and has no comorbids wants to take the very slight risk of dealing with covid without being vaccinated for the reward of not vaccinating.

    That's on them.

    Get it now?

After the death of a million Americans in 2 years, he has the right to be stupid.

He even has the right to brag about his stupidity on Fox.

I'm pretty sure that Laura Ingraham will no longer cite him as an example to follow.

I hope you also recognize the right of the employer to fire people who rebel against the rules & regulations the employed has set.

Sure, although it also affects his family who now have to bury him, and continue their lives without him. But it was his life and his choice, and the end result is what it is.

ROFL!!!! I have a stat for you: over 99% of the un-vaccinated do not die from the virus.

You are peddling fear, authoritarianism, and anti-Science positions for a virus that is less than 1% lethal.

    Lol…yeah, the selfish approach.
And there is no reward from not being vaccinated. That’s nonsense.
Unless qanon is secretly sending people a reward for swallowing paranoid bullshit.

I think that the vaccines and mask mandates all have a dual purpose, to keep people from getting the virus, and to keep those who do get it from spreading it to other people. None of us live in a bubble, and what we do can affect others.
Rugged individualism is an American trait, but when one individuals rights conflict with another, someone has to make a call, and they will tend to err on the side of caution.
I can tell you from my own experience: my 16 year old caught Covid, she didn't like wearing her mask at home, and I had to continually get on to her while she is isolating. I got lenient one day while my wife was at work, three days later, I tested positive and showed symptoms. She started wearing her mask and both of us isolated, and so far my wife and son haven't caught it, despite living in the same home.
Masks, social distancing and vaccines help tremendously, but there are no guarantees.
Seatbelts and air bags are used in every vehicle in the US, but there are still people who die in car accidents.
Is the argument now that we shouldn't have to wear seatbelts or mandate cars sold in America are equipped with air bags?
Sometimes government feels the need to protect it's citizens, sometimes even from themselves, but certainly if certain actions affect others.
And no one should gloat over the dead. But, maybe we should learn from them.

There SHOULD be no need for "culture wars". Our government ought to recognize that we are a nation of free persons and realize that our founding principles prohibit government from even attempting to mandate things like vaccines or masks. It should have never become an issue in the first place.

    It’s amazing, isn’t it?
People so bamboozled by tinfoil hat paranoia that they are fooled into dying because they can’t see reality.
It reminds me of the fool who killed himself in a homemade rocket because he was going to prove the earth is flat.
