I went in and sent all my subscribed threads to the delete folder I now have zero subscribed threads. I've looked through the control panel but can't find a way is there a way to not be automatically subscribed to a thread simply by posting in it?
Nope, because it would mean you were subscribed to every single thread you posted in, which would mean hundreds of notifications a day!
but that is what is happening perhaps I'm not being clear If I simply post in a thread it then shows as being subscribed I want it to be that I'm not automatically subscribed
Go to user CP edit options subscriptions use the drop down menu. I hope that helps Edit, also scroll down while in post mode, it gives you an option right there for the individual thread
That's what I thought, too, but that's all I needed. I would prefer to get a notification when someone responds to a post of mine, but that's probably not going to happen anytime soon.
If I receive a rep from someone and want to see from whom, I have to scroll down through all the subscribed threads. I never chose to subscribe to any thread. I'm now deleting them as i go but there must be a better way
