This post is as ignorant and uninformed as any you have ever uttered.

Yeah well... you admit that you haven't went to any doctor in order to see if your health is good enough to have a 100% guarantee covid survival rate. Your're just going with your quack opinion, which is fine.

Yes, I understand you're confused. This whole back and forth stems from your question once I mentioned military SOP for the "masks". YOU asked me.

The officer is responsible for their unit and unit operations. We have a more important task, and that's the mission.

You asked about the masks in the military from my first post. You then deflected to try and enforce a counter argument.

Does your unit enforce .91? I've asked several times and you haven't told me what your current unit enforces. I respect operational security so if you are refusing to say because of that, just say so. Unless of course you aren't in the military.

Let's head back toward what the real issue is here. And, that issue has NOTHING AT ALL to do with military missions.

The issue is character. Our military teaches character. When someone throws theselves on a grenade to save someone else, that showed character. It wasn't obeying a command.

So, when I see people coming out of our military and then refusing to wear a MASK, I know for absolute ceratin that they are FAILURES. The USA attempted to impart some degree of character and the sad sack indiviual just plain failed.

When we as a civilization defend each other, it is not all up to the military to go shoot the offender. We have threats where that particular tactic just doesn't work. In fact, that tactic almost NEVER works - for several fundamental reasons and even though our military is terrific. For example, we can not have our military shoot COVID viruses. We can not have our military shoot the white supremaciss off the Michigan capitol building steps - so our elected officials inside those buildings are taking real risk for us. We can not have our troops be the doctors and nurses who risk their own lives in trying to save COVID patients at great risk to themselves.

We are a civilization. We owe each other right here in America. And, those who scoff at that are not just wrong - they are failures that do not deserve memebership.

This post is why we need to do away with ASVAB waivers.

You would be chaptered out of our battalion in a hearbeat for putting yourself over the mission. You're afraid of getting sick.

    LOL. Sorry, dude.

It is YOU who put yourself above other citizens, not me.

Do you know how I can tell?

    It's because you SAID so!!

You couldn't sound more scared of a virus with a VERY low mortality rate. Can you list the mortality rate for us? I want to understand where your fear comes from.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying a nice sandwich in a restaurant :)

    Are you locked down?

    I really want to know:

How the hell many Americans need to die every day before for you to give a rat's ass about American lives?

You want to claim you defend America.

But, you ARE the problem. Nobody in Afghanistan has a CHANCE of killing as many Americans as this virus is killing every day.

Yet YOU as so dang sure YOU are a hero while it's crystal clear that we need fewer of you.

To think you know your body better.... is not scientific. Deal with it. You sounds like a smoker who after inhaling again says he feels fine, and you do indeed, while the lung cancer is already there.

Low mortality rate? It's a heck of a lot more deadly than your average flu. Some days more people get killed by covid than on 911. The US went into a full fledged pointless war over 10 years spending trillions of dollars over that one.

Over 300,000 excess deaths this year and you keep trivializing the virus. The "mortality rate" in the US army was lower than the mortality rate for the virus during any of the wars you have been involved in during the last 70 years. Should wars be trivialized?

You still haven't explained why not wearing a mask in a bar makes you so brave?

So there has been absolutely no update/amendment to procedures or training?
I found it quite interesting what you say about the "mission" - I was over at RAF Lakenheath the other day nattering with people and they seem to have a different view - they tend as far as possible to be viewing people over "mission" which in reality means as far as is practicable that the operational modus is being amended so that people are being protected whilst alternative "mission" parameters are in effect. Amongst other things this means less flying and more simulator time....so....anyway....I guess your Air Force sees this virus as not being such a trivial matter.
