    gimme a break

what is the ONLY difference between a gay woman and a straight woman?

Do they get dressed differently? Do they breathe differently?

you want rules based upon how a small segment chooses to engage in sex

and worse, it's your big topic. Have you noticed the debt clock or death count from the wars? But those aren't important to you........nope.

I was speaking of Constitutional rights. And even international human rights organizations only consider marriage to someone of the opposite sex to be a human right.

What's the difference between a celibate gay woman and a celibate straight woman? (hint: it's the same answer).

    well there you go

since they aren't having sex they aren't anything but celibate. 1.7% of the population in the USA has sex differently than the rest. They aren't a different race or gender, they just jink left while others jink right.

He does, I have posted around 15 different sources stating actual facts but yet he continues... It doesn't fit his point to tell the truth.

Really sad that you can make your point without making up information or using biased figures.

And Sec, people posting here often post in other areas of the site on the debt, wars, education, poverty, ect - your assertion that one posting here means they do not care about the debt is absurd - people can care about more than one topic - you are circling the drain my friend...

you are welcome to review the thread I created on the topic with exclusively gay sources where 1.7% is even being generous

but, don't let facts get in the way of your hopes.

And I pointed out several instances in your posted studies that showed the 1.7% figure was derived from an interview asking people if they were exclusively homosexual (they identified as only gay). This number does not include bisexuals nor does it include closeted individuals. I personally know several men that would say they were completely 100% straight -- even though they are involved with men (some in relationships). Failed premise, most studies taking into effect all same sex relations constantly put the number between 3%-5%. I have seen figures as low as 0.5% and as high as 25% - even if the figure is 1.7%, it isn't, you do realize that is still over 5 million people just in the US.

In the end why does any of this matter? Should a group lose rights; be ridiculed, threatened, and marginalized simply because they only make up 1.7% of the population? You would have fit right in with the last few equality issues this country has faced. Misleading and false stats do not make your point - they make you ignorant.

Ignorance means lack of knowledge. He knows he is using faulty stats and does so anyway to purposely mislead people. He is a liar, not ignorant.

I'm not having sex right now (you might be glad to hear) - does that mean I'm not currently straight? Or is there a time limit after which it "wears off"? Does nobody have a sexuality until their first time? How far do you have to go for it to count? What if you're raped by someone you're not attracted to?

Seriously, sexuality describes inclination and desire not necessarily a physical act.

It includes those who CHOOSE to identify themselves as homosexuals and does not include those who do not.
