That's awesome. He did extremely well during the last debate. He has done well in all of the debates. The problem is that the media is covering Romney and Perry, and forgetting everybody else.

Perry did terrible during the last debate.

Perry still managed to edge Romney in Florida, even after the pummeling hes been taking the past few days from the Left,The Right, and the pundits and media.

Yeah, that was surprising, for sure. Romney knocked Perry around pretty well on Thursday. Santorum did as well.

I wish Newt was pulling in better results. He did well, also.

I completely disagree with everybody who feels that there are really "frontrunners" in this campaign, so far. Anything can happen at this point. In 2008, Fred Thompson and Rudy Guiliani were the frontrunners, and where are they now?

Look at Cain. Winning a straw poll in Florida when, just a few weeks back, he was only getting 11% or so.

I guess we'll just wait and see what happens.

I am a Paul supporter, but I will go with Cain before the rest of them.

Let the liberal bashing on Cain begin.

Cain, during the debate told his heart warming story about his fight with cancer, was not attacked by anyone and a strong "Tea Party" advocate and I totally respect him for his lifetime success in the Business world, BUT he will not win in the primary voting process and I doubt he will come close to winning the Florida Primary, if he can even get financing and support to last that long.

Obviously the loser was Bachmann and unless she walks away with Iowa Caucus, her campaign will be over. I'll suggest Romney should have done better, being his second time around in Florida, really did well in beating up on Perry in the debate, along with Santorum, yet didn't beat out Perry, for 2nd place. I'll add those 37 points for Cain, probably 27-29 unexpectedly came from someone else's vote and media is suggesting they came from Perry, not Romney.

Romney and Bachmann, for the most part, skipped this event...

They did not expend too many resources for Florida...

I thought Bachmann would do a little better, but not much...Romney is where I thought he'd be.

This is a nice, albeit small feather in Mr. Cain's hat...

Oh God, please no. He'll destroy any chance the revival of classical liberalism has by getting nothing done and floundering in the face of foreign policy crises.

I'm worried about his propensity for circumventing restrictions on wiretapping, but he does seem to be the best non-Paul choice. I hope he runs, so my first vote can be both principled and pragmatic.

huge mistake by Romney and Bachmann.Florida is a very critical state. You lose Florida, you lose the Presidency.Romney did lousy in Florida in 2008 as well.Perry can easily take the Latino vote from Romney, and from Obama in the election so his stance on immigration does have some advantage. Its a double edge sword for him.But it would be a mistake to rule him out.Bachmann needs to sway a little to the center. As much as I hate to say,her being too far on the Right will alienate the Independents and she needs to stop with the Gardisol crap already. Its already being proven her and Romneys attacks on Perry isnt helping them at all.Santorum did some damage himself with his answer to the gay soldiers question.Atleast he couldve thanked the soldier for his serving, and the boos wasnt very cool either regardless of his sexuality.Newt deserves to be higher up because his answers have been brilliant. But these debates are mostly theater to me.I remember when I was little watching Reagans first debate and he wasnt that great either.Anyway, thats my crappy analyses, lol

    Couldn't agree more.

I don't know where this love and loyalty comes from with the Krispy Kreme Christie crowd. Aren't we trying to get a conservative elected to reverse the damage that Obama and Bush have inflicted?

[IMG] Watching the GOP POTUS wana-bees run around in a panic [IMG] just leaves me feeling somewhat distraught about the future of the 'Party of NO'

[IMG] I'm quite sure that the Republican faithful feel the same way. [IMG]

Don't project your panic onto us. We all know how scared you lefties are that Obama's days are numbered. We are actually confident these days. Obama's many failures are making it easy.

I'm going to go against the thread here and say that your post :flame: was very thoughtfully considered and :winner: not at all demonstrative of a :strong: deficiency in election cycle analysis. :whisper: Well written, stylistically sound. Good directing. Two thumbs up!
