    The man suspected of shooting a prominent Idaho evangelical pastor was arrested Tuesday outside the White House hours after claiming his victim was a Martian.

    Kyle Odom, 30, was arrested in Washington, D.C., two days after the attack on Tim Remington outside Altar Church in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after Sunday services.

    CNN, citing the Secret Service, reported that Mr. Odom was arrested at the White House. Mr. Odom was arrested after he threw two suspicious objects over the south fence of the White House around 8:30 p.m. EST, CNN’s source said.

    It sounds like the guy was a nut job. Things could have ended so much worse with this guy outside the Whitehouse.

    I don't know.

    With a statement like, "claiming his victim was a Martian" is a vain attempt by that suspect to keep his butt from being hammered in some state prison.

    When I was a young ufologist, Reptilians were rarely mentioned and usually not as Martians. They were suspected to come from an other Solar System [on Mars they could have a base]. Ufology recalls a part, this thread is running too fast: we should expect for the results of the investigations. An insane gesture can be just that, without any political / ideological / religious motivation.
