Sweden and a couple of other Scandinavian countries showed what the WHO has admitted that locks do not work for controlling COVID and cause more problems than they are supposed to fix.

However this ignores the real purpose of lockdowns which is the insatiable desire and compulsion of the elite (including the media) and politicians to tell people what they can do or not do. It has very little to do with actually supporting the health of the populace although that makes a good foil.

 

The most vaccinated countries are having another wave of infections like the Netherlands and the UK while the least vaccinated countries are not.

I still haven't been able to figure out why people are taking medical advice from politicians.

I heard about that one couple drinking the fish tank cleaner. The wife fought it for a few days after her husband died and then she passed. It's sad. I really wish the AMA would try to work with alternative health care providers to augment allopathic medicine. It would help with WHOLE system health and enlighten both sides to various treatment options. I understand it's because they can't patent natural remedies so there is no huge financial gain to break bread with the other side, BUT, that type of collaboration could potentially help decrease these types of desperate measures people take because they can't get help from their doctors. Yes, it's not smart to drink fish tank cleaner or take animal grade dewormers but they clearly felt they had no choice. It's tragic.

This didn't have to be political.
It didn't have to spread basically unabated.
People don't need to be dying from ingesting stuff not for human consumption.
Kids don't need to be getting sick.
And on and on.

Let's push this topic off the partisan nonsense. This is a medical situation and the sooner we all work toward collective participation outside the nonsense left/right wars...the better off we will be. I don't want to read Centerfield's posts about our daily hospitalization and death counts rising again. I don't think any of you do either.

What are you talking about? There are posts all over this forum and the internet of people saying they won't take the vaccine because Biden is recommending it. There were some saying they wouldn't take it when Trump was in office. It's all nonsense.

False, democrats made it political. They immediately attacked Trump. It was a time we could have come together and democrats saw an opportunity to attack and took it. The polarization in our country, and around the vaxx is completely driven my democrats.

I support individuals exercising their “free will” and not getting vaccinated, what I do not support is them filling emergency rooms and stealing beds from others in need. Nor should tax payers be forced to pay for their care.
