It won't catch on in Germany it will catch on everywhere else because the UK was the counter balance to Germany. Without the UK none of the other members stares have the clout to check Germany.

I haven't heard a word about Sweden on the news, but the commentators are speculating on France as the next to go.

 

If the United States would function as the framers intended a "leave" would not be needed. The States would do there thing and the Fed at a national level would protect the states as was intended. We were set up to be a group of separately functions states, not under federal control.

Those immigrants are in places like Calais in make shift camps. They cannot get into the UK legally. Being in the eu does not make it easier for them to get into the UK - ironically, being out of the eu probably will - why would the French try and stop them now - it would be beneficial for the French to just let them go across.

The eu allowed the UK to opt out of having to accommodate a share of the refugees hence why they are still in places like Calais

And being part of the eu effects this how? Those people who voted like that are ill-informed on the eu. Those immigrants are not eu nationals, so being in or out of the eu makes no difference. They have fallen for the racist speeches from Farage pandering to his masses. Farage's poster akin to Hitlers poster showed it all. The biggest influx of immigrants is from the 2-3 million eastern Europeans - the non racists out voters could be argued were justified if voting out on that issue.

No, I'm not. Some of the out voters were stating that the eu immigrants were taking their jobs. I disagree with that though. Those complainers just want to blame someone. I wrote that it could be argued (though I disagree) because that is linked to belonging to the eu
