Nature does not have intent, as it is not an active intelligence. Even if it was, can you illustrate what about your current situation (sitting in a fabricated building, with heating/air conditioning, having recently eaten a meal from food that was preserved and heated/cooled to prolong its viability, using a computer to communicate to someone you'll never meet) has to do with what nature intended?

Hey Global Citizen,did you not follow this IRS thing all the way through? Your arguments are from the beginning of Issa's "witch hunt"-----after it was established that the "confusion" lies at the LAW stating "401c's are "EXCLUSIVELY" as opposed to the IRS "RULE" for 401c's saying "PRIMARILY" & then when Elijah Cummings came out with testimony that Issa was keeping hidden- the whole debackle pretty much collapsed-the one good thing that came out of it though- is that the IRS is changing it's wording to comform to the "LAW", which is "EXCLUSIVELY"so there is no such confusion in the future.
What is remarkable is that even when there is proof & an investigation is finished & we "ALL" find out that OBAMA once again was innocent of a made up "scandal"-the GOPBAGGERS don't want to believe it-so they just go on their merry way-repeating the lies-over & over & over again-until the GOPBAGGERS think they have the truth--it's ok to have an opinion,but not your own facts.

I simply like the idea of lower taxes, less wasteful governmental spending programs, and a truly stimulated economy.

To be honest, ALL areas of spending including military need to be cut.

Here is basically my thoughts and what I believe would be a healthy government as opposed to what we have now.

 

I agree with most of your post. We need a strong military. It is what keeps us safe. However, I am sure there is waste that can be trimmed within the military. Unfortunately, the government does not spend like they are using their own money.

 

There is a lot of waste in the military, but if the job gets done no one complains or questions how it happened! That's the key!

 

I'm aware of the confusion in the law. I'm also aware that the IG said in his report that conservative groups were targeted by the IRS. A flawed interpretation of the law doesn't excuse the targeting. I've heard the words of at least a dozen conservative groups who were neither approved or denied. I've been shown 1 liberal group that was denied. I've still yet to see the evidence that showed the IG being wrong in his assessment that conservatives were targeted. I saw where the IG said that the report wasn't complete, but I've yet to see the IG recant his assessment.

 

Sadly, some countries(Costa Rica for example) have no military and they remain safe. I wonder what is protecting their freedom?

And the IG also said that he wasn't made aware of progressives being targeted...............until later on in the investigation.

Using the IGs initial report, as evidence of ONLY GOP companies being targeted.................when in fact new evidence shows the IG wasn't aware of progressives being targeted at the time his initial report was written, is amazingly dishonest. Now that new evidence is out and disproves the GOP initial claim...........if they were honest, they would be able to change their beliefs in that they were the only ones targeted, but we don't see that happening for some reason. Dishonesty? Or just plain ignorance?

 

First, the US doesn't protect Costa Rica. But even going on the idea that it does, this proves that we don't need a big military, since some other country could protect us.
