Tennessee GOP kill bill to ban child marriage

This enlightened age of the rightful right of two consulting adults to marry with each other regardless of their "gender" vs your ridiculous assertion that we are somehow "one step from marrying farm animals" makes a lot of difference in what makes a decent happy world!

Neither farm animals nor children are NOT and should NOT be allowed to be married or have sex since they cannot consent to sex or marriage.

While this Right Wing concept to not have sex with farm animals seems to be resolute, these same people seem equally resolute to allow children of ANY age to get married and have sex, particular with female children to have sex with men of 30s and 40s and older.

 

As opposed to the high minded gays who would never dream of sex with an underage same sex partner.

 

While certainly some gays who will dream of underage gay sex partners just like many straights will dream of underage sex partners, it is pretty much only the current Right Republican President and the politicians he associates with are the essential political actors who oppose limiting laws for marriage and/or sex with underage children.

 

I think establishing the age that childhood ends is what is being proposed. Pregnancies happen prior to that age and outlawing marriage leaves a choice between two bad options. Abortion or single parenthood.

 

How about the 3 year duration single shot birth control? One shot at 11, one shot at 14!

No pregnancy, no abortion, no child brides!

 

My uncle and aunt got married at 17 back in 1961 and they've been married 57 years.
