But are they sexually explicit? And, remember, it was only in my lifetime that sex toys stopped being legally restricted in Texas, no matter what your age, so be careful assuming that Texas wouldn't consider sex toys sexually explicit.
Hardly, I once knew a kid that bought 2k worth of online game crap, he was 12.. The parents were compensated, but still, CC number doesn't prove anything..
I think the idea is more devious. I think they know many people are going to hesitate to upload their ID into a database. Who knows what the government could do with that data?
Yeah i think that's the idea at the end of the day. If you look at the group that pushed this, they claim pornhub is showing videos of minors on the website. They could use the database of users to punish them for the hosting sites violations. I think the group knows many users will just find a different website, so they are comfortable with hurting pornhubs bottom line.
If you can steal a parent's credit card, you can steal their ID. They are the same size and stored in the same places.
I didn't ask about "pornographic." And there are lots of definitions of pornographic, bud. What I asked, and please read again, is are they sexually explicit?
Oh, nonono, the IDs would all be for adults, not kids. I'm talking about adults having their private information leaked.
By what definition? Dude, you are talking about the wacko party who thinks that ****ING DRAG is sexually explicit!
I agree, read what i wrote more close. The parent group that pushed this said minors are IN THE VIDEOS. I think if they truly believe that , then they plan on going after the people who get registered with this law.
*Sigh* okay. Look. ALL of the websites are going to now require ID. If a CC doesn't matter because you can just steal it, then an ID doesn't matter because you can easily steal it. In fact, you are even LESS likely to get caught that way. I sincerely don't know how to dumb this down anymore.
So, to challenge this someone has to go to court. Who's actually going to stand up to this and reveal themselves publicly to humiliation and ostracization? You think that many men need porn to get off and will eagerly challenge this. But don't forget that around the world, many states have been able to trample sexual rights all over the place. Just look at all the Muslim countries that oppress the sexual actions of adults. I'm calling this now that Texas will be allowed to ban pornhub without challenge.
Of course it is subject to party lines. What party do you think wrote the ****ing law? By the way, when you argue that a dildo is not a simulated depiction of a penis. (Hint, as predicted, you didn't read the law).
No, the State can sue any site that isn't screening for ID in their state. No one has to come forward. Pornhub is just the first to be sued.
Ah you saying the child uses their parents picture ID to gain access? Well if that's the case, then society, child and the parents have bigger problems then porn..
I don't know how this is still going over your head, but I have no idea to make it any simpler. Read it again a few times and see if it takes.
Pointing out hypocrisy is not changing the subject, it's pointing out hypocrisy. A nanny state is where schools get to decide what is and isn't good for your kid and then hiding it from you because they know better than you do. Proving someone is 18+ years old does not a nanny state make.
If you think the existence of a public school is a "nanny state," then have fun in your fantasy world.
