I have made many posts addressing the positive facets of segregation, but you made my point here by telling us that life for blacks under colonial/British apartheid was much better than life for blacks here in America.

One must ask why life in America for blacks has always been and continues to be less than uplifting. My solution to all of the black problems of assimilation into our American culture/society are to segregate the races. With segregation there would be zero racism and zero racial tension, as the races would be divided into their own enclaves. But even with segregation I still see blacks having a problem of eliminating the White man from paying for his entitlements and creating the jobs needed to make capital. Any and all crime by blacks will have to geared to criminal activity against their own, so there would no longer be a cry of racism or of profiling when dealing with these crimes as WHITE flight away from those city ghettos will be rampant.

 

I've found the perfect place for you to go, in an effort to get away from Black People.

Blacks and Hispanics tend to be undereducated and every attempt by our society for 50 years has failed to bring them up to the educational standards necessary for them to succeed.

We've dumped billions and billions of dollars into education programs for minorities that fail time and time again. It is quite obvious that poverty in the minority community is a cultural problem within the minority community itself rather than outside influences as we Americans have literally bent over backwards to eliminate those outside factors. Even you have to admit that Cigar!

So please explain to me how we're supposed to lift up minorities who refuse to meet "white society" halfway?

Many of us reach out to the black and hispanic communities and get our hands slapped away and then you post drivel that institutional racism is still to blame for every woe of the minority.

If racism was as institutional as you claim, Obama wouldn't be President today and you know it.

 

I'm guessing that most of the judges in America are white. This may explain the dis-proportionate sentencing for non-whites.

We have the same propblem in uk, current research suggests that a white male will receive a shorter sentence than a non- white male for the same crime. The judges are white, it's not hard to tell. It's just that with freedom of information the truth is coming out bit by bit.

I'm not a bitter person (I'm quite well known to be have a great humor and be of good nature), I'm just naive enough to let liberals pull the wool over my eyes and condone criminal behavior under the pretense of victim-hood.

 

And the left support Obama on selecting judges not for their ability at law but for their empathy, their bigotry, their racism.

I know it's a shock that people who quit school before they're sixteen, can't read and write, don't even try to get a job, and live in a violent culture are likely to go to prison.

Does being naive ever get tiring? Does constantly looking for scapegoats and conspiracies ever wear thin?

Assimilation means being part of the culture, people living in the same neighborhoods together, eating similar foods, having a similar culture. Segregation is the opposite of assimilation.

 

You couldn't be more wrong. Point to an example where the integration of blacks into WHITE communities or into a forced bussing situation as with Boston 1973 where blacks were bussed into White communities and into previously White majority schools has had an uplifting totally assimilated affect between the two races. Just the opposite occurred; racial tension went through the roof. Blacks who have decided to live in Harlem or in Roxbury in a segregated manner can be seen as having assimilated into the American culture or into society devoid of racial conflict because of their segregation.

 

Yes, there actually are no integrated communities anywhere on planet earth where the blacks and whites don't hate each other. So says libhater. Thus, all must be segregated again. <coughcoughJIMCROWcoughcough>

Just what rock did he crawl out from under? That goes for this whole thread, which seems to have brought a plethora of slimy squirming things out into the daylight. Apparently, they see safety in numbers. Someone got a can of RAID handy?

 

I don't see anything "assimilated" about living segregated. Here is another question. Why did Black people and White people hate each other so much?

 

I would say there are 3 possibilities here:

1) Black people are being jailed for crimes they did not commit.
2) Black people are committing a disproportionate number of crimes than other races.
3) White people are committing an proportional amount of crimes and never getting caught, prosecuted or found guilty.

 

All three actually and a 4th one...Entertainment and media not generally (better now but mostly in the past) depicting black folks as leading less than average lives to downright criminals and, at the same time, elevating those lifestyles as 'cool' or whatever they say now.

 

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for this statistic ...

Not true. There have been programs involving private schools, charter schools, and even vouchers that do work but the liberals fight tooth and nail to keep black in permanant servitude. It insures their vote. If the Democrats are successful in getting prisoners the vote then Cigar and the other liberals can totally forget about prisoners.

 

Can't think of anyone, but to combine bitterness with a socialistic/race baiting outlook on life--one has to be very desperate to think that obama will get it right by giving him 4 more years to toally destroy America.
