The ‘Plague’ of Leftism is Evident in Our Filthy Cities

We’re always concerned about the threat of terrorists possibly releasing bacteria such as plague in some aerosol form. But who needs terrorists when your own government bureaucrats are fully capable of letting it take hold and metastasize on their own streets?

I hesitated to link to this article about bubonic plaguebecause I’m not trying to sensationalize this problem. (In fact, if you’re a hypochondriac, you might not want to read it at all, and just remember that unless you live or work around this filth, you’re generally safe.) But it’s important for people to see the seriousness of the threat of this and other diseases and not let political correctness get in the way of handling it.

We don’t want leftists to, in effect, give the bubonic plague bacterium or some other microbe full civil rights because it happens to take hold among the homeless population.

Anyway, in these large, dirty, poorly run cities, there are victims beyond the hard-core homeless (although they are victims, too). I feel especially sorry for two groups of people: the ones who want to get out of there but who can’t afford to leave, and also for those police officers and public health officials who are risking their own lives and health and fighting a losing battle, with no assistance from the mayor and City Council. These politicians should be ashamed of themselves for even taking a paycheck if this is the best they can do.

In San Francisco, House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi lives and works behind security gates, within a mile of some of the most filthy, horrific examples of this. Large numbers of homeless people are camping out alongside the buildings, using the sidewalks and stairwells for toilets, shooting up drugs and tossing their used syringes all over the ground.

Pelosi doesn’t want a wall for America, but in San Francisco, she has one for herself, just as all her cronies do. The hypocrisy and downright insanity of “progressivism” is too obvious to ignore.

It seems that a lot of cities run by Democrats are in dire straits. Here are a few examples:

Democrat run cities are soft on crime because it seems that the top 10 violent cities are run by Democrats. They make it hard on local businesses to succeed. There are high taxes and bad services. They give fat pensions to unions. They reward their cronies with public money. And now if you look at places like San Francisco and LA, there are many health hazards and threats of epidemics. You truly get the government you deserve, and these people just keep voting the bad guys back in. Dems always toot their own horns about how much "smarter" they are than everyone else, yet they would rather vote for the snake oil salesman time and again who promise great things, but always fail miserably, and nothing ever changes. Democrats really need to smarten up or their cities will become more uninhabitable than they are now.

 

If you are for defecating on sidewalks, urinating in doorways, and sleeping in city parks, then vote for a democrat and you'll get more.

 

Dallas, Texas hasnt been blue very long... but May stats show 40 murders... so we're catching up. Not to mention our idiot city leaders are adding rental POGO STICKS to our pool of electric scooters & bicycles as alternative transportation downtown. I look for homeless tents and feces on the sidewalks next.

10 yrs ago the city council was adamant that all bike riders wear helmets. Now nobody cares about that and as of today, several people have died from head injuries while riding electric scooters (not to mention how many have been run over). Its a joke... we're providing transportation for able bodied millennials, but nothing for anyone else.

It seems that the city leaders want a riverwalk like the one in San Antonio

But even though it is decades away they decided to change the name of Industrial Blvd to something artsy

So being the brainless populists that they are it was decided to put it to a public vote so the people could decide

Well the votes were counted and the hispanics that libs count on to get elected tallied the most votes for Ceasar Chavez Ave

So they arbitarily decreed the name to be Riverfront Blvd

Being that liberals tend to be noticeably more "smarter" than yer average conservative, and more honest; of the top ten wealthiest cities, nine are solidly Democratic. It is those "smart" Democratic cities that are driving the economy.
