    Whodat did not say that the DOJ was going after 50 attorneys. That's not in his sentences at all.

    Again, exactly WHO is claiming that the DOJ is going after 50 Trump attorneys? Links? Video? Audio?

    I you cannot answer this simple question, then one must assume that your statement is a blatant untruth.

    This would be just totally shocking.

    Ok, I could make a thread alone about this one, but since I was having exactly these thoughts last night as I saw a video of a very sweaty and desperate pig named Trump claim in NH that Fannie Willis was having sex with a gang leader, called Jack Smith "deranged" repeatedly as if Trump's syphillis was forcing him to repeat words against his will and of course, he claimed on his truth social playtoy thingy that he had some secret dirt on Judge Chutkin, I thought to myself, how in the world can his attorneys accept these kinds of vile lies? Don't they know that they are destroying their own reputations and careers by being so stupid about this?

    And then I watched Lawrence O'Donnell, a figure that many on the Right hate with a passion because he is actually sane, and he put it like this:



    I challenge every Trump supporter out there to have the courage and morals to actually watch this and try to refute it. If it motivates you some, I sincerely hope that Trump just keeps on doing what he is doing. Now, that should make some of you worry.

    There is huge difference between free speech and defamation. And Trump's attorneys know this.

    As O'Donnell mentions, his attorneys cannot control his psychopathic, pathological behavior and they are literally terrified of him.

    The first task of a defense lawyer is to control his client. Here, that is totally impossible. Trump is like the kobayashi maru of the judicial scene.

    Trump seems to think that we're all stupid. In litigating his case in public, the last two days have been focused on 'what he thought'. Does he think that we don't notice the new tactic? Or is he simply performing for his followers and giving them new talking points?

    Trump must, at least, suspect that most folks recognize the truth.

    He is lying in the media because he knows he can't discredit the evidence in a courtroom.

    His baseless revilements of judges and prosecutors is especially pleasure-inducing for hardcore trumphumps.

    It makes his weird worshipers moist.

    I also suspect that there will be a certain amount of fireworks at the first hearing, it is likely to be acrimonious for stretches of time.

    The defense team will test the Judge's patience, a hallmark usually seen at mafia-boss trials.

    Unfortunstely for the defense, this first hearing is occurring on a Friday, which means that the Media will have the entire weekend to dissect every bit of it.
