The Boys have a tough schedule ahead of them: 10 Nov 10 7:30PMCST ' AT Saints 11 BYE 12 Nov 24 3:25PMCST ) AT Giants 13 Nov 28 3:30PMCST * Raiders 14 Dec 9 7:40PMCST + AT Bears 15 Dec 15 3:25PMCST ) Packers 16 Dec 22 12:00PMCST ) AT Redskins 17 Dec 29 12:00PMCST ) Eagles
umm read my post #55 in this thread my predictions Lions would win- I was correct Vikings would lose- I was correct 7-9 will probably win the division and if the Cowboys got to 8 wins and an awesome 8-8 record then they would win the div I just don't see where they pick up 3 wins out of their next 7 games. I can see 2 wins, but not 3. My prediction, 7 teams will have a better W/L record than the NFC east div winners but won't be in the playoffs; pretty pathetic
Dallas has 7 games left. I concede the loss this week to New Orleans. We have already swept the division in the first half, and have the second half to play, NY, Philly, and Washington. And to round out the schedule We have Chicago, Green Bay, and Oakland. If you can not see where Dallas can win 3 if not 4 of the reamining 7 games you are blind or are simply drinking the haterade (not that there is much to hate on) but you are saying Dallas will go 2-5 the rest of the way, despite already having beaten 3 upcoming foes, Green Bay with no Rogers and Oakland? Are you serious? If Romo keeps his head on straight, Dallas can easily go 5-2 down the stretch and finish 10-6. That is not my prediction, but it is a plausible. I am predicting 9-7 as Romo will pull a Romo and give a game away.
the one thing that time will do is prove one of us wrong. I stand by my prediction, Dallas, no better than 8-8 this season
A sad story: Dallas Morning News Dallas Cowboys legend Tony Dorsett has degenerative condition tied to depression, dementia
head trauma. to many concussions. and not just Dorsett. also Joe DeLamielleure and Leonard Marshall story
From your link: "Dorsett said doctors have told him he is clinically depressed. "I've thought about crazy stuff, sort of like, 'Why do I need to continue going through this?'" he said. "I'm too smart of a person, I like to think, to take my life, but it's crossed my mind."
Amother NFL thread where the OP has disappeared Looks like the 'fired' once Cowboy defensive coach Rob Ryan! got his revenge last night, now working same position with the NO Saints!! Fell asleep during the half, but at that point Romo only had 20 yds passing....kudos Ryan (he's the Ryan brother w/o the foot fetish!)
Yeah, yeah and ugly uniforms, so what? NO looked like a bunch of a black ants running all over the field. And all over the goal line.
Speaking of hypocrisy (ahem), let me tell this story: When I was in HS, I used to go over to a friend's house whose whole family were super-Cowboy fans, Except, that the father was an old-school Texas racist redneck type. And so when the Cowboys would score and he would go crazy, I would smugly say..that guy (Bullet Bob Hayes, etc.) was a BLACK guy who just did that!!!! Man he hated me....ha ha (as the helmets & uniforms and SD broadcast TV hid the race of the players back then)
Good cheap shot, but I'd think those uniforms are ugly even if we'd won. Black helmets, jerseys, pants and shoes... how creative.
I've said the same thing on another thread...I actually prefer the 'throw back' to the kind of bland ones they now wear--look too much like Detroit Lions!!
