In anticipation of the last minute WIN...and cheering them on.
You're suppose to be cool about winning like true undisputed champs are: "Yeah, tough game, but we came thru with our superior talent ." Just another day at the office......
Yeah, right. We've gone thru quite a dry spell. Not to mention watched out QB get nailed to the cross every weekend. Tonight and tomorrow the Reunion Tower ball will be all Cowboy'ed out! We celebrate 'em all like it's our last. Because, well....
I'm right here boy did the GEE men look pathetic. That win was the 3rd win that I could not see Dallas getting so they might actually get to the magical 8 wins. It's pathetic that we're actually discussing getting to 8 wins as being a good thing Eli is making really bad decisions. I think it's time for him and Coughlin to head to ESPN as analysts. They can call Rex, I think he has a few extra QB's he's not using and could spare one. The guy wouldn't even need to drive further to go to work.
Apparently, Eli is no Payton! Looks like that controversy is over. But ppl who bet on the NFL games are foolish...ask the pundits Terry, Howie, Michael, & Jimmy who are about 50/50 even w/o points!! Look at GB, with A. Rodgers out w/injury and thus dont have the same chances of making the playoffs
Having trouble posting pics from my phone again... or I'd show yall Reunion Tower this morning. All dressed up with a big blue star! YAY COWBOYS!! (did it work?)
He is also the first identified by the zone defense, and you can see it begin to collapse. Checkdown, ball control, there is a reason why Romo has total QBR 50 points less than his regular QBR in games being decided by 7 points or less. Mark it down here and now, THE DALLAS COWBOYS WILL NEVER WIN A SUPERBOWL WITH TONY ROMO AS QUARTERBACK. You are trying to justify a bonehead interception. He panicked and made the wrong throw, get over it.
The defense is a cover 2 the middle zone is one of your primary targets in that defense. Its the NFL the holes in the zones collapse fast. That doesn't mean the crossing rout wasn't' open when its supposed to be open. The crossing route worked just as planed. He beat the defender who was trying to wall him off from the middle zone. He was open. If the guard doesn't cross into Romo's line its a completion.
Okay whatever you say, did Dallas lose that game or not? Yep, it was a loss, again, cause of Romo blunder. His career is littered with incidents like this, bonehead plays at critical times. QBR 102.9 until you get to mission critical (games 7 points or less) then it drops to below 75. A fifty point drop!! He made the wrong throw. You can try to justify it any way you want. That interception cost us that game. Why, because he was impatient, and tried to get the loss of yards from the sack on the previous play all back at one time. Because Romo is a buffoon when it comes to situational football. Would you like to move on to the Detroit fiasco and discuss that as well? Sad thing is we won yesterday and I can't even enjoy it, cause with Romo you always have to wonder when the collapse is coming. Its coming but when?
If he wanted to get the loss of yards back in one throw he would have thrown the deep read #1. Witten was the #2 read.
the problem with "plans" is that both sides must cooperate. The fly in the ointment for Romo is that there will always be defenders
I'm telling you right now as a coach. I would never criticize Romo for throwing that ball. It was his #2 read and his #2 read was open. He pulled the trigger with perfect timing. I would however get on the guards case for crossing the QBs face which is something he knows not to do.
Brady has less talent on the Pats this year than does Romo on the Cowboys yet look at their record. Talented QB vs Romo. It's easy to make excuses and it's done all of the time but as long as Romo is taking snaps, there will be no Superbowl for Dallas.
Offensively With Gronk back that is very arguable, the pats line and running game is miles ahead of the cowboys. The Patriots D is way way better at all levels than the piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) the Cowboys put on the field. By saying the pats have less talent you are saying that they don't have the receivers. So basically you are talking about one position. The pats have more talent than the cowboys in every other facet of the game, including special teams. You are almost last in rushing offense, almost last in rushing defense, almost last in passing defense, dead last in total defense. The only reason your team is 6-5 and in control of the division owning the tie breaks is because of Tony Romo. And guess what. He is no Troy Aikman. With the running game you have and the line you have Aikman would be getting killed.
The Grinch who stole the superbowl. Don't count your turkeys before they hatch, darlin. This is God's team we're talking about. Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Hope you have plenty to eat and plenty to be thankful for!
Dissapointed But looks like my Eagles are just gonna have to run the table to steal the division crown. Looking forward to week 17.
