One of the best fairy tale passages in the Bible is found in Isaiah 34:7 (KJV) = "And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness."
Unicorn is just a symbolic word for powerful horned animals like rhinos and some dinosaurs, they've always been around..
And yet these progressives believe in witchcraft. Witches Cast Mass Spell with Hopes of Removing Trump from Office The forms of protests originating with liberals who still have not accepted the election results simply get weirder and weirder... Witches across the country gathered together at midnight on Friday to cast a spell on President Donald Trump seeking to remove him from office. http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/02/25/witches-cast-spell-donald-trump-crescent-moon-removal-office
The title of this thread is 100% false. There is NO mention of fairies in the Bible. There are no such thing as fairies. Pixies, yes, but not fairies.
How do you know there is no such thing as fairies ? Not all fairy tales contain fairy's anyway. Talking donkeys for example - this is a fairy tale.
They look like they are pledging allegiance to the flag of the US using the original straight arm salute.
The Bible does have some weird creatures = http://www.bibleexplained.com/revelation/r-seg13-14/beast-sea2.jpg http://www.nuggetnetreview.com/images/34-3.jpg http://snakespirit.webs.com/Revelation56.jpg https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/revelation-male-angel-pose-30914689.jpg
LOL, that's utterly ridiculous. The Bible, as are many ancient writings, is used in archaeology to this very day. At least google something before you post it.
Really? And I thought your comment about archaeology and the Bible was the most foolish one, until I read the above. Islam and Christianity are radically different, they are mutually exclusive. Islam directly refutes the fundamental beliefs of Christianity, and implements beliefs that are wildly out of synch with Christianity and Judaism.
Other than denying that Jesus was the son of God and that he was crucified what other Christian or Jewish beliefs does Islam deny?
I think your comment above has replaced the one your whinging about as the most foolish post of this thread. You really don't know squat about Islam do you?
In islam, Jesus was not of virgin birth, was not crucified and resurrected, was a man with no divine aspect, and all of Jesus teachings were lost (and islam claims the lost teachings of Jesus is one reason for mohammad). In islam, the New Testament was the creation of men (the Apostles) who lusted for power and money and usurped Jesus teachings, nothing in the New Testament is true. Islam believes that Jesus was betrayed by Judas, was arrested, but God put Judas in Jesus place and Judas was crucified, while Jesus was taken into Heaven. In islam, the Christian Trinity is polytheism, they believe Christians worship 3 gods and are blasphemers and violate the first pillar of islam (there is only one god). In islam, when a muslim states that Christians and muslims are all "people of the book", they do not mean the Bible that Westerners and Christians follow. A person cannot be muslim and Christian, islam and Christianity directly contradict each other, they are mutually exclusive. Anyone who has read the Koran, hadith, and the Bible knows this.
I said: "Other than denying that Jesus was the son of God and that he was crucified what other Christian or Jewish beliefs does Islam deny?" Your answer didn't add anything to that. Regarding the differences with Christianity you could have commented on such things as the communion, baptism, circumcision, prayer, mixed gender services. There isn't very much difference between Judaism and Islam except for a few minor points. That's why they have always collaborated against the Christians.
Islam teaches that Jesus was born of a virgin from the mind of God like Adam. and that Jesus was the purest of the profit without sin. You don't know anything about Islam so you probably should stop bloviating.
Bible archaeology is a joke... and the people that pursue it are usually con artists.. They run around with a Bible in one hand and a Water Witch in the other like Ron Wyatt. Bible archaeology is like Creation geology.. its crap that mocks science.
No, you think you do because you have lapped up the propaganda without nuance or understanding. One could extract the same kind of "memes" from the torah and the bible. contradictions within scriptures is a given. An artifact of the religion/governance/control requirements of the powers that be.
Are you sure about that? Maybe you need to read your favorite fairy tale. Genesis 2:4-22 (CEV) = "4 That’s how God created the heavens and the earth. The Garden of Eden When the Lord God made the heavens and the earth, 5 no grass or plants were growing anywhere. God had not yet sent any rain, and there was no one to work the land. 6 But streams[a] came up from the ground and watered the earth. 7 The Lord God took a handful of soil and made a man. God breathed life into the man, and the man started breathing. 8 The Lord made a garden in a place called Eden, which was in the east, and he put the man there. 9 The Lord God placed all kinds of beautiful trees and fruit trees in the garden. Two other trees were in the middle of the garden. One of the trees gave life—the other gave the power to know the difference between right and wrong. 10 From Eden a river flowed out to water the garden, then it divided into four rivers. 11 The first one is the Pishon River that flows through the land of Havilah, 12 where pure gold, rare perfumes, and precious stones are found. 13 The second is the Gihon River that winds through Ethiopia.[c] 14 The Tigris River that flows east of Assyria is the third, and the fourth is the Euphrates River. 15 The Lord God put the man in the Garden of Eden to take care of it and to look after it. 16 But the Lord told him, “You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden, 17 except the one that has the power to let you know the difference between right and wrong. If you eat any fruit from that tree, you will die before the day is over!” 18 The Lord God said, “It isn’t good for the man to live alone. I need to make a suitable partner for him.” 19-20 So the Lord took some soil and made animals and birds. He brought them to the man to see what names he would give each of them. Then the man named the tame animals and the birds and the wild animals. That’s how they got their names. None of these was the right kind of partner for the man. 21 So the Lord God made him fall into a deep sleep, and he took out one of the man’s ribs. Then after closing the man’s side, 22 the Lord made a woman out of the rib. The Lord God brought her to the man," Notice that the God character was an idiot. He made man on a barren planet and then he made the vegetation. Then the idiot puts the two trees that he didn't want the brainless golem man to ever touch right there with him. After a while the idiot God realizes that his single man is all alone so he gets the idea to make assorted animals in the hope that one of them will be a suitable partner for the brainless man. When the idiot God sees that he has screwed that up he knocks out the brainless golem and steals one of his ribs to make a rib woman. And then everything went to hell.
