I seriously cannot believe I heard that. The full speech was worse than the clips. I want Democrats to imagine Trump giving a similar speech, just replace "Maga Republicans" with "progressives" and a "progressive force". It's the darkest, possibly the most anti-American speech ever given on the steps of Independence Hall.

Before, I just thought of Biden as politically unsavory, a doddering fool. But now I see him as a man so convinced, so steeped in his 'fight' against fascism, that his constant references to the military may not be for mere show. I''m at a point where I legitimately fear the use of military force by the President illegally against US Civilians. No sitting congress member of either party should feel comfortable with the words used by Joe Biden last night, they wouldn't be if they were uttered by Trump.

The biggest issue is the red. If you look at the red of the US flag, it's a light-dye red. It's not meant to be that dark. I will admit to be slightly fair, had I seen the blue I might have been a tad bit less offensive. The darkness of the red, in my view totally besmirched the US flag, just like the speech did.

With that speech, Biden assured that just as he wants, he won't be getting this independent's support. Trump was/is bombastic, Biden is an angry lunatic with the military at his disposal.

We will not hear the last 9 minutes of the speech, where he tried to soften his tone. I only hear the military terms he used to describe American citizens.

Gas prices are down, after sky rocketing to unheard of levels, but still nearly double what they were just 3 or 4 years ago. Cost of living is through the roof and employers cannot afford to increase pay at the rate of inflation.

And the moron stands in front of the nation and claims it is all because of 74 million people. Surely you see the irony in your claim that he is not dividing the nation!

Employers cannot raise employee pay fast enough to keep up with inflation.

And keep one thing in mind….his oath is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution….I see those words in his speech as seeking to do exactly that…
