That is exactly right. Usually nobody comes back form the dead. Except those who have still things to do. Like telling others (witness) of the afterlife, for example.
Later on, they will be "truly dead".

Way too much drug use going on here.

 

Our species will not last forever, so there will be a "last days" at some point, but Christianity in particular has failed in their prophecies of that, clearly expecting the end times to come within a generation of the death of Jesus.

 

Although I am definitely NOT advocating copying what he did.....
the drug use that actor Larry Hagman did did seem to give him a pretty good understanding of spirituality that would have at least something of a
positive effect on his career.......

I must beg to differ with you on this theory......

INFINITE TIME was already invested in the creation of us humans......

seems to be intent on doing modern Ezekiel chapter thirty seven style resurrections.......
of all of us.....

that create new time lines........

and in these new time lines people get "SAVED" and are finally able to go into heaven.....
who were LOST in other time lines......
and may have ended up in something like Bill Wiese or Howard Storm experienced.....
a very NEGATIVE, dark and scary near death experience......

but now in their resurrected state... they are paving a whole new path that many of us can learn from.... and emulate to at least some degree.

It may be wise to keep in mind that the scary... zombie... vampire... werewolf... type of creatures that former Atheist Howard Storm met during his near death experience.....

The world will be re configured with an asteroid. If it happens where there are still humans they or we will see it coming just like in the movies. Survivors will wish they were dead.
Then there is disease, both natural and manufactured. It's gotta happen. Gene splicing is being done in ramshackle buildings in California by Chinese nationals presumably to reduce the chance of a runaway disease in China. They are actually trying to make a living creating chemicals, reagents, and biologics that are in demand in the bio world, but the chance of a runaway is very, very real. "Clean Room" does not translate to Chinese apparently.
Regardless, some tribe in some jungle will survive but if they have everything they need there, they will have no reason to venture out. Some modern populations will survive to rebuild.
Nuclear war will only serve to "thin the herd", as most populations will survive to engineer around the challenges caused by a nuclear war, but they will never be the same. That is the basics of Mutually Assured Destruction.
The middle east will certainly go nuclear within the next 20 years. (The Bible actually said something about the end of the world starting in the holy land, so even Jesus knew what a bunch of self destructive people Muslims were. Iran has a real heat on elimination Israel, and people of the Islamic faith seem to be honored to be collateral damage. So I see no popular uprising over dying except from the Jews. They are just uncooperative that way.
And lastly... some day the sun will just fade out and we will be one more frozen marble circling another iron rock, too small and too wimpy to go supernova.

 

I expect Iran to nuke us any day. I'm surprised they haven't already.

Our hope lies in a sign over the employee entrance at NASA-Houston which reads: "The meek shall inherit the earth. The rest of us ARE GOING TO THE STARS!"

Our universe and multiverse theories don't provide any evidence of life forms more "highly advanced."

Plus, Christians believe he made a FATAL decision. He didn't have an NDE and thus become a Christian, or believe in Jesus, etc.
