According to the Gospel of @19Crib Jesus was so amazing that he KNEW about another Abrahamic religion that WORSHIPED the SAME god that would NOT start for another SIX HUNDRED years into the FUTURE?

And Jesus ALSO knew what they would be doing TWO THOUSAND years into the future?

Why has no one ever TOLD us about these SUPERPOWERS of Jesus?

While that is the perception it is not consistently so.

The terminology of the supernatural comes primarily from religion so using those terms is not necessarily an endorsement of religion.

I am personally aware of someone who had an NDE and openly says that there is no god but there is some form of afterlife.

The problem with conflating an afterlife with a deity is that there is some type of evidence, albeit anecdotal, for what we experience when we are dying. The deity aspect negates the serious research into whatever this phenomenon might be. It could be just a release of chemicals in the brain or is it all of the synapses flashing simultaneously? Or is there something else that is external? There is a basis for a legitimate study but not likely to happen anytime soon.

 

So where is everybody?

 

White donkeys... white buffalo.... a white lion...... a white deer.... a white moose...... all of these are taken to be signs of a transition over into the Era of Moshiach...... or Era of Messiah in English.

I believe that we are finally in the time period when Messiah Yeshua - Jesus can reveal His plans for Eventual Universal Salvation but.....

I have no doubt other life is out there but due to the physics of extreme distance, everyone will remain where they are.
All of the models requiring a "superforce" to solve the time/distance problem imply using technology that implies a need for huge levels of portable power necessary to go into a different time dimension. Then, you must come back to the right "time" you left from and prove you actually did that.

Science and the Near-Death Experience

We have dreams produced by healthy brains, too, with some individuals claiming to have been informed by these dreams.

As death takes place, I'm sure there is a cacophony of inputs from parts of the body that are failing. I would suggest that a dying brain is doing an increasingly bad job of putting together inputs, memories, and logic as well as the ability to create accurate memories as we experience with dreams.

I'm certainly supportive of legitimate study of what is going on in these cases. Maybe it would even lead to a better understanding of the process of dying, which could be helpful in medical science as well as for the living who must make medical decisions. Damaged brains have been seriously important in learning how the brain works. An example of this is the work by Dr. Steven Pinker.

So, it isn't a field of study limited to ideas about the existence or behavior of God.

 

Actually, there are reports of something called "Visioning," which happens to people close to dying, and it's a real and common phenomenon. I've started a thread topic about it: End of life Visioning and Hospice Care.

 

It's also called "dementia". I used to visit an older friend in a full care nursing home. Sometimes he would recognize me and remember the good times. Other times, though, he would be playing solitaire with invisible cards that floated in the air that he "visioned".

 

It's not dementia. It's something that happens to people while they are still lucid. They don't know why it happens, and not everyone has visioning either, and that's okay.

in a way Ezekiel chapter thirty seven is happening now...... so Ezekiel chapters forty to forty eight could be close.........

Every day could be the last day. So why should I care? There will be no ads in TV that armageddon starts next year in April, 2nd.

 

The moment you were born you days have been numbered. You never know when.
Two years ago, I had a stroke, fell hit my head and had a sub-hematoma. I was told I had clinically died, but I was revived and am still recovering. So, yes, I had a NDE, but not one of a religious nature, nor one at all similar to those often reported by those looking for their 15 minutes, which is why I see most of them as bunk. Been there, done that. It’s been a fascinating experience, including the self guided therapy process (the institutional therapy I received was not helpful and largely part of a scam to get insurance payouts, but that w outdated req unreliable it’s own thread to detail.
While I have never feared death, that lack of fear has been reinforced by my experience. Yep, you never know, prior to my stroke I was in great health, bicycling 40-70 mi / per day 5 days a w eek then, bam. I now am considered high risk for another stroke or heart attack (may have had AFibthat caused my stroke. So, I live everyday as if it’s my last, up that is nothing new for me having been raised in Belfast, UK during the troubles.
Of my experience, one thing I can pass on, is the human brain has trillions of neurons and neural connections greater in number than all the stars of the Galaxy, which is capably of creating an internal world of amazing breath and detail, a world comprised from all the life experiences that have shaped the brain. One consequence of my experience has been that my dreams have become amazing.
Yep, the human brain is an amazing thing. My experience has left me thinking that the Boltzmann Brain Theory of reality is plausible; it stimulates my curiosity and reinforces my lack of fear of death. But, no rush, my days are numbered, until then, I am sort of enjoying the process of recovery, particularly, the rebuilding of my brain’s neural control over my body (for the curious, my stroke as in my Basal Ganglia). I am recovering. I k recently break a crop of magic mushroomed and have begun experimenting with microdosing.
So, NDEs and religious experiences? I am sure they happen, but do they point to another existence? I am a skeptic, but as I suggested, I attribute the Boltzmann Brain theory more plausibility than I previously did. Ah well, my days are numbered, so I will find out, or I won’t; nothing to worry on…I have had an amazing life which is still unfurling, so no regrets what ever comes, but in the meantime…

So, if Trump [Antichrist] and Musk [False Prophet] take power in 2025, the bible says the world will end in 42 months. Musk knows he can manipulate Trump. Certainly, Trump has the mouth [of a lion] that utters proud words [narcissistic boasting] and he blasphemes and slanders not God, but everyone in their way. The Trump/Musk dictatorship will certainly be unstoppable and will have authority over the US and much of the world. Project 2025 is set to go into action on DAY ONE, the day Trump claims to be a dictator. The world would end 42 months or 3.5 years after they enter office waging war against all nations. The chances of Trump/Musk gaining power is only a coin flip away.

 

The end has been foretold many many times, but….
I think the Bible an interesting book of fiction. But, we certainly have the capability to erase humans if we F up. Do you have faith the leaders in the world won’t F up?

 

No, I don't have faith world leaders won't end it all. But look how long we have gone without a single nuke going off, 79 years. Humanity has great challenges, but with the marvels and promise of technology and AI, a lot of leaders don't want the party to end just yet.

 

And you dare to say that it took more than 2000 years to make the first correct interpretation and nobody was able to read the bible correctly but you?

 

Well, you'd better hurry up and get right with God, because accusing Trump and Musk of being evil doesn't change a thing about you.

 

How does one "get right with God"?

How should I change? I am calling attention to the fact that Trump ACTS evil consistently, and Musk supports his evil actions. How can you tell which side is evil, the right or the left? Both think they are good, and the other is evil. Both sides have good and evil people. The way you can tell is which side chose a candidate that ACTS evil? Which candidate is obnoxiously narcissistic? Any evil actions you can accuse Harris of, is nothing compared to the evil that Trump has wrought and intends to continue in a second term, with the help of the wealthiest man on earth, Musk. There is no comparison.
