In this election year where we will have the choice to remain a free democratic republic with a free market capitalist society or a socialist government controlled economy where your freedoms will be severely limited. Call it what you want, socialism, progressivism, communism, it's all the same with the same outcome. Equal distribution of misery for the masses and wealth and control for a select elite class of bureaucrats. Unfortunately, with the exception of Islam, communism and socialism has been one of the deadliest creations of mankind. This thread is going to explore the history and failure of communism and socialism and expose the crimes against humanity that it has caused. I will ask that you join me in exposing the left and the high cost in human lives, the hundreds of millions of human lives paid for in the name of a Utopian society.

I'm not very sure you understand what socialism and communism imply. I'm assuming you think that it means when the government owns everything, which is a common misconception. :^D

I'm sarcastic, but I'm not joking. You can't show me where mutualism has succeeded because there is no example of that. What has succeeded is free market capitalism. Nothing has been more successful in history than that. Or once again, perhaps you can correct me if I'm wrong.
Because Free Market Capitalism requires hard work and personal discipline in order to thrive within it. Hard work, discipline and sacrifice are always a hard sell compared to "the easy route". For instance, what is the best way to loose weight and get in shape? That's right, a proper diet and regular exercise. But, that is hard and required discipline. But, what SELLS the most? That's right, the prepackaged diet food and the miracle weight loss pill. These are easy to do, but they don't work, or at least they don't have lasting effect. So people engage in the latter but not the former. Why is that? Because people are inherently lazy on the whole, and are always willing to go for the "get it quick, get it easy" route, and there is ALWAYS some politician willing to lie to them and tell them that "it should be that way for you, the easy way, and it's the OTHER GUY'S FAULT that it is'nt!" You see, 30% of the population is just Friking Retarded, another 30% is just Friking Lazy, and then there is the remaining 40% of us who do the work and foot the bill for the other lazy, retarded 60%. And it is that Lazy, Retarded 60% who do all the complaining, while doing the least providing.
So is that the source of american exceptionalism? Do countries like norway, Sweden an denmark also have similar proportions of repugnant lard asses
Seems to me that there are many countries that achieve better results By many measures And many if not most of those better performing countries are not so devoted to free markets and small gov as we are. It does not seem to me that there is evidence that pure capitalism produces demonstrably superior results
No. It is being exceptional enough to simply "purchase" better privileges and immunities, through capital wealth in our Republic.
