When you are the customer you may say anything you wish, "Merry Christmas", Happy holidays" or even "Have a nice day", however when you are the employee you abide by the rules set down by the person(s) you work for, if they want you to say "Happy holidays" then if you want to keep your job you do so, and considering that Christians hi-jacked "Christmas" from Pagans I fail to see what the problem is.

Why does a Christian have to say, "Happy Holidays", and they aren't allowed to say, "Merry Christmas", but God Forbid somebody made a rule which stated that Jews aren't allowed to say "happy Hanukkah", then everybody would just call their employees a bunch of bigots. Honestly, if I made the rules, I would ban all religious holiday greetings, just to (*)(*)(*)(*) off the hypocrites.

Urm, if they are employed by a person or company then you abide by the rules if you want to keep your job, regardless of your religious standing .. I think the idea is to have a greeting or farewell that could not be seen as discriminating against anyone .. Happy Holidays seems to fit the bill.

Though I do agree that all religious motivated greetings should be banned in the workplace no matter what religion they come from.

That's a very good thing. At least you're not a hypocrite. You don't just ban Christian greetings-you ban ALL religious greetings. In my humble opinion, ALL religious greetings should be banned in schools, just to show the absolute hypocrisy of this society.

Second of all, you did not answer my specific questions. Just imagine this scenario. If an employer told his Jewish employees that it was discriminating and offensive and insulting to other religions if they said, "Happy hannukah", to others, then he would probably have a lawsuit on his hands. People would accuse him of being anti-Semitic. They would accuse him discrimination if he tried to ban Jewish holiday greetings. If he tried calling Jewish holiday greetings discrimination, he would be accused of being some anti-Semitic bigot.

Yet, how come it's discrimination if somebody says a Christian holiday greeting, but it's discrimination if somebody tries to ban a Jewish (or some other non-christian religious) holiday greetings?

I know of no person being prosecuted for enforcing a rule in the workplace banning religious greetings, do you have any evidence to the contrary?
