I always hear how Tim Tebow is nothing but a running back trying to play QB(certainly some honest criticism there). But really, is Vick much more than that himself? I wonder if Philly could take that contract back, would they?

I'm already getting psyched up for the U.S.Open, which starts tomorrow! Would love to see these players, to name a few, do really well - Tiger, Mickelson, McIlroy, Dustin Johnson & Adam Scott. Now wouldn't a Sunday final of Tiger & Scott be quite a sight?

The difference is that while Vick still makes questionable decisions and runs when he should be looking to pass, he doesn't throw like a 13 year old girl. Tebow does.

The difference is that while Vick and Tebow both make questionable decisions and rely on scrambling too often, Vick doesn't throw like a 13 year old girl. Tebow does.

Ok, so if you're from Philly and don't root for your hometown team, wouldn't that make you some bandwagon queer?

Quite shocking that a QB with a 13 year old girls arm could beat the Pittsburgh Steelers defense in a playoff game!?

Or it means I don't feel a loyalty to a football team.

Right, the rest of the broncos had nothing to do with it. Tebow beat the Steelers all by himself.

So what, you're still a bandwagon fan, if you're rooting for some other team than your hometown one.

Well he kind of did. His accuracy is so poor that the Steelers were playing a coverage and leverage that basically said if you can make the throw its a touchdown. I dont think you would have see the Steelers in the coverage against any other quarterback than Tebow.

If you are saying that Tebow is really good at sucking then I agree.

    Ibrahimovich, get in there...

Edit] That is it. I'm finished with stupid football forever.

He is and he isn't. Rolling up into cover 0 with outside leverage is basically to keep the QB from running. In some previous games when team had gone 0 with proper inside leverage the broncos had run the coverage off and Tebow had taken off.

With outside leverage which is your typical Zone leverage the defensive backs can look into the backfield and see the quarterback. The Steelers were trying to have the best of both world hoping that Tebow wouldn't have the accuracy to make them pay for the poor leverage. They were wrong.

The Czech's & the Greeks advance, while Russia goes home! The Greece win over Russia is a pretty big upset, Russia just needed a tie to advance. The Greeks reward is a likely match up with Germany in the knockout round.

It's quite a surprise that a total of 3 golfers are under par at the U.S.Open, & each only at -1(Tiger, Toms & Furyk) after 2 rounds! I'd say the course is winning.

Haven't seen early third round scores but the forecast was it would play very hard and bouncy .More high scores and presumably because of wind direction , left handers have no chance . Woods has an outstanding chance if he can hold it together .

There's 6 million Scots. 60 million English. How many US people would you have, to choose a team from again if you were any good at football? 313544041.

I can see why you feel threatened.

Some of the players that I wanted to at least be competitive - Mickelson, McIlroy, Dustin Johnson & Adam Scott - crashed & burned! Well, at least we have Tiger to either root for or against.

Oh come on, I wasn't trying to be mean. If they(the Scots) were there I'd be cheering for 'em. Sorry I offended. If you read my post about U.S. soccer, you'd see how disappointed I am in there (lack of) performance.

The Greeks are not exactly strangers to football. They come through on occasion on the big stage.

I can't say I watched it. Screamed at it, would be more accurate. Threw things at it, might also suffice. Will never watch it again, you can take as read.

But I will watch it. Zinedine Zidane's goals, subsequently set to the score of "Dry your eyes mate", will always be one of the moments of sporting history.

Almost up there with the Hand of God, watched in a major sporting venue with many people and celebrated long into the night thereafter.

    Can't risk missing that.
