So I take it you're unaware that "Makeup" is a common thing with people and camera/broadcast/films? If you were to see people in their natural skin on high def you would ask them to PLEASE put on some makeup Men and makeup has made that jump decades ago, right along with hair/plugs and beard color, and almost everything our Grandmother/Mothers and Girlfriends used to enhance there looks.. I don't know if you have noticed, but men of all ages are now even wearing ear/piercings rings/jewelry among other places Come on dude, it's 2018, be realistic

And they look as absurd as trump does, only a lot younger.

Don't be so critical To some they look sexy, it's a big ol diverse world out there maybe you should get out and experience it some? Try and judge folk from what is inside and pay less attention to what they look like on the outside, that's just petty nit picking and objectification!
