I understand our Second Amendment to mean State intervention on behalf of the People regarding tyranny from the general government.

The power to call forth the militia to suppress Insurrections of Individuals of the People is clearly delegated to our federal Congress in Article 1, Section 8.

Democrats who know history know that this new gun control push is not going to end well at the polls. A lot of people both Democrat and GOP in the rural states won't take kindly to California and New York city trying to force their views on them. I say bring it on Obama and Harry
