Indeed, I have written this guide to attempt to help those who defend Cain by pointing out how others have done it.

I reserve the right to edit this as I am inspired by the postings of my peers.

    1. Never admit Cain did anything. Insist that the allegations are from anonymous sources even though they are not and that they are baseless event though the NRA paid off the accusers.

    2. Insist that the women involved were overly sensitive. There are zero facts to support this, but insist on it anyway.

    3. Invoke Clinton. Ignore that you are excusing poor behavior with more poor behavior.

    4. Insist Clinton was impeached for getting a hummer by an intern in the Oval Office. Despite this not being true, repeat as often as possible.

    5. Call Obama stupid. While it has nothing to do with any topic, it does add towards some apparently necessary daily quota.

    6. Blame the “liberal media”. Never hold Cain accountable for his apparent actions and instead hold the news accountable for reporting news.

    7. Bring up Larry Sinclair. Though Sinclair and his story have long been discredited, it allows you to insist that President Obama is gay. This has nothing to do with Cain but rather allows the poster to keep fooling themselves into believing they are straight.

    8. Repeat anything that Hannity says, and be sure to use the term “electronic lynching” as many times as possible as it implies bigotry towards Cain from anyone that dare criticize him.

    9. Substitute Limbaugh for Hannity in step 8 and follow the rest of the instructions.

    10. Bring up John Edwards. Though it has nothing to do with anything, just bring it up. Ignore that Edwards dropped out after his scandal.

    11. Never admit your own hypocrisy. Never. Pretend it does not exist and pretend others can not see it.

    12. Continue avoiding talking about Cain and repeat rule 3.

I like it, TFM! I've especially noticed a lot of talk about Bill Clinton, so I agree with point number three.

Wow, this is the same thing the liberals do when one of theirs is going down in flames. At least we know the republicans are smart enough to realize what the dems have been doing for years works. It would be nice though if we could actually talk about something of substance rather then this. Bringing up incomplete stories that may be about sexual harassment or not does nothing to help find the best person to run the country.

I do not personally know if Cain is guilty of anything, maybe he is, maybe he is not. Personally I could really care less about what happened 12 years ago unless someone can show where he committed a crime, otherwise its what it is, a he said she said.

We've had 100's of stories....but no one knows anything about what supposedly happened.....and we are even reading desperate requests from the media for women to show up and tell stories so they can finally print something tangible.

Is that the type of behavior you find credible enough to make a decision on? If so....I would say there are some people easily led.

I will say frankly...that I have seen lawsuits like these. Anything off the cuff and even innocent can be an opportunity for the opportunists....and this is because regardless of whether it is based on fact or not....settlements are less expensive for the accused rather then fighting out the matter in court.

The women in question should come forward. Until they come forward and make the charges themselves I reserve the right to refer to them as phantoms. Every person has the right to confront his or her accusers.

In this case the "victims" seek to not accuse much. It's politico doing most of the accusing.

Everyone should be able to confront his or her accusers. Let these women show themselves and tell us their stories. Then Cain gets to respond. Until this happens there is a presumption that this is all silly and meaningless.

Politico has no standing as an accuser. Politico needs to stop protecting these women, and should instead identify them so they can be interviewed by all sides. Let's have a thorough airing of this matter or the matter isn't worth considering.

This wouldn't of gone as far as it did if Cain just admitted it and explained what happened instead of playing victim, scapegoating, pretending not to know, and then attacking anyone that questioned him.
