Its interesting generalization is that the advocates of the existence of the "war against whites" consist of serious racists like the neo-nazi white power pinhead groups and little white boys and girls who haven't been able to realize their dreams and need to blame somebody else for their own failures.

Anyway, I choose to believe the Bible and not whatever so-called archeological evidence that you think proves the Israelites were paid.

 

Agreed. When one compares the prosperity of the white race to most (if not all) other races, it's pretty apparent that we have done a great deal of "whites looking out for whites."

You have to compare individuals. Because if it doesn't hold up for the individual, then it's not really a privilege, is it? It's just a stereotype. Because it doesn't apply to everyone.

*sigh* You're going to make me do this again. According to you, I must be black. Because all of your "gotcha" examples were staples of my teens and twenties. It's called being a long-haired white kid. I used to get pulled over and harassed all the time. I got watched like a hawk when I went into stores. I was always presumed to be on or in possession of drugs or weapons. My first serious girlfriend's family made her break up with me because they didn't want her dating "someone like me." People judged me all the time before they even spoke to me. A cop once pulled me over and accused me and my friend of kidnapping his girlfriend just because she was sitting in the front seat with us. They even pulled her aside to question her separately to make sure she wasn't scared of us. They told her, "It's okay. You can tell us the truth. They can't hurt you." Another time I was pulled over for speeding. The cop then spent the next 20 minutes searching my car which made me late for a show I was trying to get to. What was he looking for? He never said. But he didn't find anything because I wasn't breaking any laws. Oh, and here's one that even happened after I cut my hair off. I got arrested and was never officially told what for. By a black cop, nonetheless. Could the fact that I had a mohawk have had anything to do with that? Gotta wonder.

So where was this "white privilege" you speak of? Perhaps these people didn't realize I was white?

 

Slavery was a practice of the Israelites, too. I don't know why you're so set on slavery being a European invention. It's as old as humanity, which is almost universally acknowledged as having derived in Africa. That's a secular position. Not a Christian worldview argument.

No, I understand perfectly well. In fact, probably better than you do. And that's kind of my point here. I'm poking a hole in your theory. Why do poor white people not benefit from white privilege, and how are upper and middle class black people victims of it?

What you are promoting here is a stereotype, not a universal rule. It's not really any different than saying minorities cause crime.

 

I dont know why you are trying to state that the slavery that was practiced by europeans during the atlantic slavery was the same as any and all types of 'slavery' in antiquity.

Maybe I should explain a bit for you. letts not confuse slavery with feudalism or servitude anymore.

Chattel Slavery was invented by europeans in 1492.

So slavery obviously existed in that region... So stop suggesting that those slavers were "forced" into trading slaves to the Europeans. The practice was common and I'm sure it is still in some forms.

There are multiple definitions as we have just shown, you are a slave, we are slaves, everybody is a slave. The point is that the slavery that europeans practiced in 1492 was unique and never before used in Afrika. Therefore it never existed in Afrika. Therefore it is a european invention.

Considering you outright made a claim that the only reason the slavers traded with the Europeans was due to force (Capturing "Kings" of those particular areas) it leaves much to question. Go on and insult my supposed lack of intelligence because I'm an American while you're the brilliant British who doesn't even know European history.

 

Maybe you should read about this history of west coast afrika to be able to agree with me, your ignorance (not knowing) is hindering your ability to discuss this issue.
Maybe you have no interest in the history of west coast afrika for one reason or another, maybe an american thing or maybe a racist thing, the two do tend to work in tandem.

 

I hear what you're saying buddy, however two things.

1) Corporations do indeed enjoy cheap labour and being free of those pesky health and safety conditions. This is why they have outsourced so many jobs to China and India. Working conditions which are beneath contempt I may add, but that's another story.

2) Corporations which still employ here must pay at least min wage to staff. It's not like the generally tend to take people on and pay them cash in hand (below the going rate).
